The Royal Highlands in Palia have proven to hold answers to some long-standing mysteries. There are still more questions, but the last Relic needs to be obtained.
Work with Eshelon again to complete the last step in collecting the Relics. Solve Amadeus’ puzzle to finally obtain all 4 Relics.
Prerequisites For ‘The Flames Of Ambition’ Quest
To get ‘The Flames of Ambition’ quest in Palia, you’ll need to progress through the game and complete certain quests. Here’s what you should complete first:
- Complete the main story questline through ‘Answering The Call‘.
- Complete the Elderwood main story questline through ‘Even As A Dream‘.
- Complete ‘A Royal Welcome‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Administrative Access‘ quest.
- Complete ‘A Stitch In Time‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Somewhere That’s Green‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Chasing Perfection‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Cat’s In The Cradle‘ quest.
How To Get ‘The Flames Of Ambition Quest’ In Palia
To get ‘The Flames Of Ambition’ quest, you’ll need to complete the prerequisites. Once you complete the ‘Cat’s In The Cradle’ quest, you’ll get this one automatically.
It’s easy to overlook the quest, so you can check to see if you have it already by viewing the main menu ‘Quests’ section. You’ll find this in the ‘Main Story‘ tab of the quests under the ‘Main‘ category heading.
Enter Amadeus’ Lab
Enter Amadeus’ lab through the trapdoor in the center of the hedge maze. Eshelon has already entered and will meet you there.
Approach Eshelon to begin a conversation. There is a scroll to read on the table inside the lab lobby. It will have the hint for solving the brazier puzzle.
Enter the vault once you solve the brazier puzzle. Approach Eshelon to begin a conversation. There are 2 books to read on the table inside the vault room.
Hunt a Pyroflow creature to obtain a Pyroflow Mask. There is also an optional part of the quest to talk to Subira. Talk to her first, if you want to, before completing the other parts of the quest to ensure you get any information you want.
Creatures with Pyroflow enhancement should be around ruins. Once you’ve obtained a Pyroflow Mask return to the vault.
Unlock the vault and obtain the Relic. Talk to Eshelon about the last Relic.
Collect the following:
- 100 Amber Echo
- 5 Cooked Meals
If you don’t have enough food in your inventory, you can visit a campsite to cook some. Return to the vault and talk to Subira.
This will complete the quest. You’ll receive the last Relic ring, and can equip it in the ‘Accessories‘ section of the inventory menu.
You’ll need to remove any equipped Relic from the Relic slot before you can see what other Relics you possess, or before you can choose a new one. You’ll automatically receive the next quest, ‘The Lion And The Lamb‘.
