The stakes in your investigation of the temple intruder seem to be getting higher. You’ve solved plenty of puzzles, but these flow beacon lights aren’t a response to your activities.
Keep looking for answers in the next part of the main story, and find out what might have caused the flow beacons to activate. It seems that the occurrences are closely tied to humans, so it’s fitting that you get to search for more clues.
Prerequisites For ‘Answering The Call’
Before you’ll be able to receive the ‘Answering The Call’ quest, you’ll need to complete a few others:
Complete ‘Rooted In Place‘
Complete ‘Up In The Air‘
Complete ‘Into The Fire‘
Complete ‘Troubled Waters‘
You can check the status of this quest by visiting the ‘Quests’ section of the main menu. It will be under the ‘Main Story’ section of quests.
You’ll automatically receive this quest when you return to your home plot after completion of the ‘Rooted In Place’ quest.
Talk To Einar
While a visit from Einar is always welcome, this time he comes at the behest of the Gardener. The Gardener simply wants you to know that the Cosmos Protocol has been forcibly deactivated.
He also told Einar to tell you that you shouldn’t waste your time trying to talk to him. Though, the quest will give you an option to do exactly that. Whether or not you want to chat with the Gardener, you’ll have to meet Subira in the Night Sky Temple (the vault).
Info From Talking To The Gardener
If you speak with the Gardener, he will reveal that even if he wished to share the information he couldn’t, because he doesn’t even have access to the information.
When you approach Subira at the Night Sky Temple, a discussion will begin. You’ll need to explore the newly accessible hallway in the Night Sky Temple.
Meet Subira further into the hallway. The hallway is blocked by debris, so you’ll need to look around to find an alternate path.
Use your pickaxe to break down any crumbling walls. Explore the area and read the tablets you encounter. There should be 7 total.
Once you find an alternate route, talk to Subira. Chat with the console and enter the proper password. Review any logs and messages you want. Talk to Subira afterward.
