Eshelon and you are teaming up to find the second Relic, or “trinket” that the Galdur Administrator requested. You’ll need to trek over the Royal Highlands in Palia to find all four.

For this quest, you’ll be learning more about Belafontine. Explore the House of Nightshade area, near the Amber Lake, to get Belafontine’s Relic.

To get the ‘Somewhere That’s Green’ quest in Palia, you’ll need to do the prerequisites. Once you’ve completed ‘A Stitch In Time’, you’ll automatically be given the ‘Somewhere That’s Green’ quest.

Meet Eshelon At The Church

Palia characters Eshelon and Hassian at the church for the 'Somewhere That's Green' quest.

Belafontine’s item is the next one you’ll need to obtain from the church in the House of Nightshade area. Eshelon’s marker as well as a main quest marker should appear on the map and navigation bar at the top of your screen to guide you.

You can stay on the main ground level to find Eshelon, you won’t need to visit the higher terrain. Eshelon will be inside a building’s arched entryway, so he might not seem readily visible.

When you approach, a discussion will automatically begin. Clear the remaining rubble with your pickaxe.

After clearing the rubble, another discussion will automatically begin. Interact with the trapdoor in the floor to enter Belafontine’s lab.

Talk to Eshelon once you’ve entered the lab lobby. Read the blue book on the right-hand table.

Obtain the flowers from the table on the left, and plant them in the appropriate dirt piles in front of the door.

Flower-Planting Puzzle Answer

These should be planted in the following order from left to right:

  • Heartdrop Lily
  • Sweet Leaf
  • Cotton

Once you’ve arranged the flowers, interact with the pedestal in front of the door to see if you’ve guessed correctly. If the arrangement is correct, the door will open. If not, you’ll need to try again.

Enter the vault once the door opens. A discussion should automatically begin when you approach Eshelon.

You’ll find a blue book, an envelope, and a scroll on the table inside the vault. Read all items to get more understanding about Belafontine.

Hunt a Jaakcat with a green mark above its head to gain a Terraflow Mask. When you’ve obtained a Terraflow Mask, return to the vault.

Interact with the pedestal beneath the Phoenix statue. Talk to Eshelon about the Relic you obtained.

Collect the following items to charge the relic:

  • 100 Amber Echo
  • 5 Royal Highland Flowers

Amber Echo can be obtained from many activities such as bug-catching, hunting, foraging, and mining. You should be able to collect plenty within a short time if you don’t already have enough.

Once you’ve collected everything, return to the vault. Talk to Eshelon to give him the supplies he needs. Belafontine’s ring should allow you to extract more from the land, increasing resources (except Echo) gained from all sources.

You can have only 1 relic equipped at a time. To change or equip a relic, visit your character inventory menu.

In the ‘Accessories‘ section you should be able to find the Relic option which looks like a pendant. Interact with the spot to see the available Relics.

If you already have a Relic equipped, you’ll have to remove it (right-click on PC) before you can select another one. Once you’ve removed it, you’ll be able to see it listed along with the rest of your Relics when you interact with the empty Relic slot.

You’ll also be able to see what each of your Relics do before you equip one. You do not need to actually change your Relics for this quest. The discussion with Eshelon will complete the quest, and you’ll automatically receive the next one, ‘Chasing Perfection‘.
