You’re one step closer to getting Hades into Mount Olympus in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It could be a terrible idea, but there may not be many other options to save Storybook Vale.
Keep working with Hades to see if you can make it to the top of Mount Olympus. Be prepared for some typical puzzle-solving similar to the Mythic Trials you completed.

Prerequisites For ‘Explore Mount Olympus’
To get the ‘Explore Mount Olympus’ quest, you should:
Remove the ink wall blocking the way to Mount Olympus.
Complete the following 3 Mythic Trials in Mythopia:
- Guts & Glory
- The Promethean Flame
- Losing Your Marbles
Unlock the Fiery Plains.
Unlock The Statue’s Shadow.
For best story experience consider doing the following as well:
Complete ‘A Moth To A Flame‘ quest.
Maleficent’s ‘The Mistress Of All Evil‘ quest.
You can check the status of the quest at any time by checking the ‘Quests’ section of the main menu.
Exploring The Mount Olympus Area
Exploring in Disney Dreamlight Valley usually entails visiting the whole area including important spots like entrances, ruins, and blocked areas. It can also involve cleaning up the area, and fixing up the fast-travel well.
There’s a fast-travel well in Mount Olympus. You can activate the well for 15,000 star coins.
As you explore the area, you’ll find journal pages to read. Interact with them to obtain memory orbs which contain bits of lore for the main story.
Journal Page Location Answers
You’ll find a journal page at the northernmost set of stairs leading to ‘The Statue’s Shadow’ area.
Another journal page will be located at the northernmost path in Mount Olympus.
There’s a journal page located at the northernmost part of the riverbank, a little ways north of the fast-travel well.
Make your way to the nothernmost path to get to Mount Olympus and interact with the gate to enter. After entering, find Hades and talk to him. He should be right in the immediate area.
You’ll need to clear the rock rubble to find 1 of the vases you need. The other vase will require you to fish in the ripples nearby. You’ll fish up a platform to allow you to cross to the other vase location.

Place the 2 vases on the pillars at the bottom of the staircase near Hades. Follow Hades up the stairs once the vases are placed. There will be a green treasure chest on the way.
You’ll need to approach Hades to prompt the next phase of the quest. Talk to Hades once a quest marker appears above his head.
You’ll need to find more vases, so you’ll need to use the Royal Net on the wheel stand to turn the bridge to the proper locations.
Rotate the bridge 1 time. Cross to the next rotating bridge and activate it 1 time. Cross to the platform and take the stairs down to the lower level.
Use your Royal Pickaxe to clear out all the rocky rubble and obtain the vase. You can also interact with the marble block on the pallet to move it out of the way.
There’s another green treasure chest to loot as well. Return to Hades’ location and activate the wheel stand 2 times. Cross the bridge and use your Royal Watering Can on the small water wheel.
This should lower the platform so you can cross it and obtain the other vase. Interact with the lever to lower the drawbridge.
Cross the bridge and remove the rock rubble from the blocked pillar. Place the vases on the pillars. Follow Hades to the next gate. You should encounter another green treasure chest on the way.
Talk to Hades once he has a quest marker above his head. There’s a wheel stand nearby, but the wheel part is missing.
You’ll need to remove the rocky rubble nearby, then fish in the ripples to pull up a platform. Cross the platform to obtain the missing wheel.
There’s also another green treasure chest to loot. You’ll need to remove the fiery rock patches with your Royal Watering Can first.
Interact with the wheel stand to repair it once you’ve obtained the wheel. Activate it with your Royal Net to open the gate.
Follow Hades to the next area. Talk to him when you arrive to continue with the quest. You’ll still need to obtain 2 more vases.
Take the stairs to the lower level. Remove any debris, loot the green treasure chest if you want, and interact with the marble pillar to move it out of the way.
This should reveal a vase for you to collect. Return to Hades and use the nearby lever to lower the drawbridge. Cross the drawbridge and meet Hades at the next gate.
You’ll encounter another green treasure chest surrounded by the fiery rocks. Remove the debris with your Royal Watering Can.
Use your Royal Net to activate the wheel stand at the gate. You may need to retrace your steps to move one of the marble block pillars to the new gate.
You’ll need to move it 2 times to move it to the proper location. Once the pillar is in place, you can go up the stairs and walk across to an area with the next vase. It’ll have quite a bit of rock rubble to remove.
Approach Hades once you have the second vase to prompt the quest to continue. You should then be able to interact with the nearby pillars to place the vases.
Climb to the stop of the stairs and catch the demon snippet that’s hanging out in the area. You’ll have to swipe it with your Royal Net quite a few times before you can catch it.
More demon snippets will appear, so you’ll need to catch 2 additional snippets. Talk to Hades once you’ve caught all the snippets. This will complete the quest.
