Everyone has a place in Dreamlight Valley, and Hades is trying to figure out what he wants to do in the valley. We know he doesn’t really want to “do” anything, but he needs some sort of lifestyle.
He’s heard of celebrities from Daisy, and he’s curious about the type of lifestyle it takes to be a celebrity. Work with Daisy to help him figure out if being a celebrity is his cup of tea.
Prerequisites For ‘Your Own Personal Hades’
In order to get the ‘Your Own Personal Hades’ quest, you’ll need to do a few things.
- Have the Storybook Vale expansion.
- Unlock the following characters:
- Daisy
- Scrooge McDuck
- Flynn
- Minnie Mouse
- Have Hades at friendship level 7 or higher.
- Reach a certain progression with Mickey Mouse.
- Unlock The Statue’s Shadow area.
- Unlock The Fiery Plains area.
- Unlock The Elysian Fields area.
You can check the status of this quest under the ‘Quests’ section in the main menu.
Talk To Hades
To get this quest started once it’s unlocked, you’ll need to talk to Hades. Hades is now interested in the concept of celebrities.
You’ll need to meet Daisy and Hades in Hades’ house to discuss how to make him a local celebrity. Talk to Daisy once you’re inside Hades’ house.
You’ll need to collect the following after your conversation:
- 5 Common Club Rushes
- 5 Blue Flowers
- 5 Magma
Return to Daisy once you have all the necessary materials. Wear the Hades t-shirt. You can easily change into it by going into your wardrobe menu and then checking the Hades icon at the top.
Once you’re wearing the shirt, talk to Hades. You’ll then need to take selfies with Hades while wearing the t-shirt. Visit the following places for pictures:
- The Elysian Fields
- The Fiery Plains
- The Statue’s Shadow
Hades should automatically follow you, but if not, simply chat with him and ask to hang out. Once you’ve finished taking selfies with Hades, go back to your house and check your mail.
Daisy has set up an endorsement deal with Goofy. Hades will need his very own stall though, so Daisy has mailed you a list of the materials you’ll need to collect.
You’ll need the following materials to craft the ‘Hades Kiosk’:
- 1 Star Sapphire
- 5 Marble
- 1 Magma
- 25 Petrified Wood
- 1 Crimson Eternal Poppy
When all ingredients have been collected, you can craft the Hades Kiosk at any crafting station. The crafting recipe will be located in the ‘Furniture’ section of the crafting recipes.
Talk to Hades about his endorsement. He’s supposed to do a cooking presentation with some of Goofy’s ingredients. He wants you to do it instead, to no one’s surprise.
Gather the following ingredients:
- 1 Onion
- 1 Olive
- 1 Feta Flyleaf
- 1 Elysian Grain
- 1 Spinach
- 1 Garlic
- 1 Honedew Melon
- 2 Salt Crystals
You should have received recipes for Spanakopita and Olympian Tapendade. Learn the recipes by using the books from your inventory.
Once you collect all the materials, talk to Daisy. Place the kiosk and cooking station near Scrooge McDuck’s store in the Vale.
You’ll find both items easily if you check the ‘Requests’ section at the top of the ‘Furniture’ menu. Adjust as needed until the quest objectives have checkmarks to show they are completed.
| This quest may appear to be glitched at this point. When placing Hades’ Kiosk, make sure the green field for the kiosk is touching Scrooge McDuck’s store. We had success with placing it on the left side of Scrooge’s store. |
You’ll be able to take some pictures of the “event”. Next, cook 1 Spanakopita and 1 Olympian Tapenade. The recipes should appear at the top of the cooking interface. You should see quest markers to indicate which recipes to use.
Listen to Hades’ speech. You have an option to speak with Scrooge McDuck, but then you’ll need to talk to Hades to see what he thinks about being a celebrity. This will complete the quest.
