Ever since Orlock’s dinner party to foster peace in Moonlight Peaks, your magical abilities have been awakened. Even though you’ve probably been working with some magical crops, there’s much more to learn.
Fiona has been keeping an eye on your progress and you’ve finally managed to impress her a little bit. She wants you to try some more challenging tasks to prove your spellwork ability.
Prerequisites For The ‘A Touch Of Magic’ Quest
To get the ‘A Touch Of Magic’ quest in Moonlight Peaks, you’ll want to do the following first:
- Complete ‘The Magic Of Crops‘ quest.
- Complete ‘The Quest For Mana‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Building A Mana Extractor‘ quest.
- Complete ‘The Need For Herbs‘ quest.
- Complete quests up to and including ‘Curating The Museum‘.
- Complete the ‘Mend It With Magic‘ quest.
- Check in-game mail for a letter called ‘The Coven’s Calling’.
The in-game letter will officially give you the quest. You should receive the letter the day after completing the ‘Mend It With Magic’ quest.
Prove Your Spellwork
Fiona has taken more interest in your magical abilities. She hasn’t invited you to the coven just yet, but she wants you to practice some spells.
The quest tells you to use spells to do the following:
- Grow a crop
- Make it rain
- Move your house
Each of these spells are available to purchase from Webb of Wonders. As you try the spells, the quest will update to reflect your progress.
You have the option to talk to the witches in town about the spells. They will give you hints about what spells to use.
The spells you should purchase are the following:
- Maturio I – 2,000 coins.
- Hoisthaven – 2,000 coins.
- Tomorrow’s Tears – 4,000 coins.
| Some of these spells require the use of quite a bit of mana. You may either need to use Mana Essence to replenish, or consider purchasing the Mana Cookbook (2,500 coins) which will make it much easier to refill your mana. |
You’ll only replenish 1 Mana Essence each night’s sleep. If you want to get the spells done quickly, you’ll need to replenish your mana. Otherwise, it will take a few days to complete all the spells.
Once you’ve completed all the spells you’ll need to wait until the following day to see what Fiona thinks. She’ll appear at your home and invite you to a meeting in the Crest Garden the next day.
The quest will complete after the meeting. You’ll receive a Witch’s Wand as a quest reward.
