In a magical place like Moonlight Peaks, it’s no surprise that you might be able to extract the very essence of mana. Sabrina has perfected a unique device that does exactly that.
Find out how to get this quest, and what you’ll need to craft your very own Mana Extractor. You might get a little closer to a coven invitation.
Prerequisites For The ‘Building A Mana Extractor’ Quest
To get the ‘Building A Mana Extractor’ quest, you should do the following first:
- Complete ‘The Magic Of Crops‘ quest.
- Complete ‘The Quest For Mana‘ quest.
- Obtain ‘The Need For Herbs‘ quest from in-game mail.
- Check in-game mail for a letter titled “A New Project“.
You can check the status of the quest any time in the ‘Quest Log’ menu. The quest will update as you complete objectives.
Visit Webb Of Wonders
After you’ve received the ‘A New Project’ message from Sabrina, you should visit Webb of Wonders. Talk to Sabrina about her plan.
You’ll receive the blueprints for a Mana Extractor. She thinks it would be good for you to make one, and that it might help you get invited to the coven.
The only problem is that you’ll need Rose Quartz, which can only be found in the Crystal Caves. The Crystal Caves can be reached by using the north exit on your farm.
How Do I Get To The Crystal Caves?
If you leave your farm from the north exit, you’ll want to travel further north as if you’re heading to the map location with the pumpkins. When you get to a set of wooden stairs, you should see a large rock blocking a cave entrance.
The large rock can be removed with a Copper Pickaxe. This is the entrance to the Crystal Caves.
| Even though you can enter the Crystal Caves using just a Copper Pickaxe, you will need at least an Iron Pickaxe to mine the Rose Quartz. You’ll need to have the following to get an Iron Pickaxe: – 4,000 coins – A Copper Pickaxe – 3 Iron Bars |
Your map information should update to show the cave entrance as Crystal Caves after you’ve entered those caves for the first time. Collect at least 10 Rose Quartz from the mines.
Build The Extractor
To build the extractor, you won’t just need Rose Quartz. Collect the following materials:
- 5 Refined Stone
- 5 Planks
- 5 Copper Bars
- 5 Glass
You will need to have an Enchanted Mortar to process the Rose Quartz into powder. Once you have enough Rose Quartz powder, use the Furnace to turn it into Glass.
Once you have the Glass and other materials, interact with the Workbench and craft the Extractor. Select it from your inventory to place it in your home or outside.
Talk to Fiona when you’ve crafted the Extractor and this will complete the quest. You’ll now be able to extract Mana from certain items. Interact with the Extractor to see what items you can use.
