As a newly-independent vampire in Moonlight Peaks, you’re learning lots about yourself and your new home. You even have some unique abilities, due to your heritage, that let you wield magic.
Your Mom has sent you something special in the mail, but it’s a rather large crate. Find out what she has sent you and how to repair it.
Prerequisites For The ‘Mend It With Magic’ Quest
To get the ‘Mend It With Magic’ quest in Moonlight Peaks, you should do the following:
- Complete ‘The Magic Of Crops‘ quest.
- Complete ‘The Quest For Mana‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Building A Mana Extractor‘ quest.
- Complete ‘The Need For Herbs‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Curating The Museum‘ quest.
- Brook heart level 2 and cutscene at park area.
- Wait a few in-game days.
You can check the status of the quest by visiting the ‘Quest Log’ section of the menus. It will update as you complete objectives.
Talk To The Witches
You’ll get a special delivery when you leave your house. A small cutscene will play and Viktor will encourage you to open the letter that comes with the mysterious crate.
It seems your Mom has sent you something, but it’s possible Brook wasn’t very careful with the package. When you open the crate, you’ll receive a Broken Cauldron.
Viktor suggests that you speak with the witches in Moonlight Peaks for ideas. They might even be able to help you repair the cauldron.
The Broken Cauldron will automatically appear in your inventory. Talk to the following residents:
- Fiona
- Sabrina
- Luna
- Noel
Once you’ve talked to the witches, you’ll need to meet Fiona at her farm. You’ll learn a little about the cauldron, and then you’ll need to use the Mana Extractor to obtain 2 Mana Essences.
Return to Fiona once you have the necessary Mana Essences. Talk to Fiona to deliver the Mana Essences.
You’ll need to wait for quite a few in-game days, around 4-5 days. Fiona will then appear at your house one morning to deliver the repaired Cauldron.
You’ll receive a Cauldron Blueprint, as well as the potion recipe for an Alter Ego Elixir. The quest will complete after the discussion with Fiona.
Even though it’s not part of the quest, you should make an Alter Ego Elixir and give it to Viktor. To successfully make the elixir, you’ll need to tap the key or button when the small circling dot enters the highlighted area.
It will work similarly to the cooking mechanic. Once you’ve successfully completed it, you’ll get the elixir. You won’t get any particularly special dialogue from Viktor when you deliver the elixir.
