Jada has found a run-down building in Moonlight Peaks, and she has just the right plans for it. Jada wants to fix up the building and turn it into a museum.
Help Jada with a variety of tasks to get the building ready. Enjoy the opening of Moonlight Peaks’ very own museum, and get collecting!
Prerequisites For The ‘Curating The Museum’ Quest

To get the ‘Curating The Museum’ quest in Moonlight Peaks, you should do the following first:
- Complete ‘A New Beginning‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Museum In The Making‘ quest.
- Enter town (possibly on a rainy day).
You can check the status of the quest by visiting the ‘Quest Log’ section of the menu interface. The quest will update as you achieve objectives.
Meet With Jada In Town

After you get the ‘Curating The Museum’ quest, you’ll need to visit the museum building the following day. Jada needs you to clear the surrounding museum park grounds of rubble.
You’ll need the following to clear the rubble:
- Copper Pickaxe (you should already have an Iron Pickaxe by this point).
- Copper Axe
- Any Sickle
Remove the rocks, wood, and grass from the areas within the fence around and across from the museum building. The quest will update once you’ve cleared all the necessary components, and give you the next step.
Talk to Jada to let her know you’ve cleared away all the rubble. Jada wants the Museum Park to be decorated. You’ll need to craft items and use them to decorate the area.
You can just put 1-2 decorations in the area. We placed 2 benches and were able to unlock the next part of the quest.
Once you decorate the area, the quest will update and you can talk to Jada to let her know the decorating is done. You’ll also have a chance to do more decorating, or to confirm that you like how it looks.
Jada is a bit worried that people won’t show up to the museum opening. She’ll give you 5 invitations to pass out. You can choose who to invite to the museum opening.
Residents you ask can refuse to come, so you may end up having to talk to more than 5 people about the invitations. You’ll then need to wait for 3 days for the museum to open.
| You should do all the tasks you need to do before entering the museum for the opening. The sequence of events will take you to the next day if you attend the afterparty. |
Enter the museum on the day of the opening. You can check the quest log to see the day of the opening.
During the opening of the museum, you have the option to attend Orlock’s afterparty. If you go to the party, you’ll also wake up and have the option to sneak out or stay.
Attending The Afterparty And Choosing To Stay
You will automatically go to the next day if you choose the stay option, and you will wake at Orlock’s instead of your farm.
If you stay, Jada will find everyone at the afterparty and be angry at you for missing the Crest Ceremony. The quest will complete, but Jada will suggest you visit the Crest Garden when you feel like it.
Attending The Afterparty And Sneaking Out
If you attend Orlock’s afterparty and choose to sneak out when you have the chance, you’ll go to the next day automatically but will wake at your home. You’ll be able to enter town for the Crest Ceremony.
Even if you leave immediately after waking, Jada will still consider you late. You’ll at least get to attend the ceremony after her lecture.
Refusing The Afterparty
If you select the option to refuse the invitation to Orlock’s afterparty, the museum opening ceremony will end. You’ll be able to attend the Crest Ceremony the following day.
Jada will be upset that you’re late. After her lecture, the ceremony will take place.
Once you have the option to attend the museum ceremony in the quest, you may start finding special objects while doing your usual tasks. They will be marked with a museum icon, so you can easily tell they are special items. The quest will end once the Crest Ceremony is over.
