In the Palia game, there are many skills to learn, and fun tasks to do. Many people love decorating their very own housing plots.
One of the fun ways to decorate a housing plot is by planting your favorite trees. To do that, you need to figure out how to get tree seeds.
Where To Find Tree Seeds
Tree seeds in Palia cannot be purchased. You can only find them when logging (chopping trees).
Each type of tree drops a unique seed. The seeds are sometimes special weekly requests from villagers.
In addition to keeping a stash of seeds to appease villagers, you can use the seeds on your very own housing plot. Just plant, and water the seeds. Over time, you’ll grow trees right where you want them on your plot.
Tree Types In Palia
There are multiple types of trees in Palia. Here is a table of each tree type, and what kind of seed you can obtain from chopping them down.
Keep in mind that the larger trees seem to have a better chance of dropping a tree seed for you during your logging. Small trees can also give seeds, they just don’t tend to as much.

Flow-infused trees can be any tree, they are not a different type, even though they look unique. The seeds dropped by Flow trees will simply be the seed of whatever tree has been affected by Flow.
At midnight (in-game time) in Bahari Bay, a grove of Flow trees will spawn. The community etiquette is that someone shares the map grid location (D8, etc.) and then people gather until 3am (in-game time).
When 3am arrives, the Flow trees will be cut down with everyone helping. It is also acceptable to chop each flow tree 1 time. This ensures you’ll be able to loot the Flow-infused wood even if you’re not fast enough at chopping trees at 3am.
