The gods are stirring up a storm and putting obstacles in the path to the temple. Hercules is concerned that the gods have been angered, but neither Phil nor Hercules have any idea what caused the anger.
Keep working with Phil and Hercules in the Hercules Realm to find more information about the situation. Get some help from the gods along the way to traverse the realm.

Prerequisites For The ‘Speedrun Crash Course’ Quest
Before you can get the ‘Speedrun Crash Course’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have access to the Dreamlight Valley castle.
- Unlock the Hercules Realm (14,000 Dreamlight).
- Complete ‘Moonlighting As A Hero‘ quest.
You can check the status of the quest by visiting the main menu ‘Quests’ section. It will appear with a Hercules icon.
Talk To Phil
Hercules has found a bigger problem than the fog inside the Hercules Realm. A number of obstacles have cropped up to block the path to the temple.
Meet Hercules and Phil back in the forest. Talk to Phil once you find him.
You’re going to need a little help from Hermes this time. Collect 5 Pegasus Feathers. The Pegasus Feathers will be easy to spot.
They’ll be floating in midair, and emanating a golden glow. They will move quickly though, so you’ll need to catch them, and perhaps use the sprint ability.
You’ll also need to break some Winged Boots out of a Marble Pile. Use your Royal Pickaxe to break up the piles.
As you collect those items, you’ll also encounter a green treasure chest, and some food. Collect the food items and loot the treasure chest in the area.
Once you’ve collected all the Pegasus Feathers and the Winged Boots, talk to Phil. Follow Phil back to the arena where a new Hermes pillar has been set up.
Interact with the pedestal to place the Winged Boots and Pegasus Feathers on it. Talk to Hercules once everything has been placed on Hermes’ pedestal. If you collected the food in the area, you should already have most of what you need to make Hermes a special meal.
You’ll need the following:
- Aegean Delights (Fishing)
- Legendary Goldfish (Fishing)
- Greek Cheeses (Search Forest Area)
- Greek Fruits and Veggies (Search Forest Area)
- Giant Lettuce (Foraging)
- 1 Coal Ore (Can Access From Storage)
Once you’ve collected all the ingredients, you can interact with the Cooking Station near the arena. You’ll see the ‘Legendary meal’ recipe at the top of the recipes with a quest marker on it.
Place one of each item into the cooking pot to create the ‘Legendary Meal‘ for Hermes. Pick up the Winged Boots once they have a golden glow around them, and are hovering in the air.
Use the ‘Wardrobe’ function from your inventory to equip the Winged Boots. Use the Hercules shortcut icon to quickly find the boots.
Near the Hermes pedestal is a new starting ribbon for another obstacle course. Interact with the ribbon to begin the challenge. Avoid the swinging boulders and rocky fists that slam the ground.
You’ll have 5 minutes to complete the course, which should be plenty of time to work your way through. You’ll need to push a platform along as you go, you’ll need it at the end.
When you get through the course, there’s a small circular platform in the arena. Stand on the platform and interact to officially finish the obstacle course.
Talk to Hercules once you’ve finished the obstacle course. Follow Phil and Hercules back to the cliff with the storm.
Interact with the Hermes platform on the ground to teleport to the other side. Talk to Hercules once he and Phil catch up to you. This will complete the ‘Speedrun Crash Course‘ quest, and give you the next one, ‘Thunderstruck‘.
