You’ve searched Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Hercules Realm for clues about the gods’ anger. Someone, or something, has altered the family mosaic.
Work with Hercules and Phil to see if you can restore the family mosaic back to its intended glory. Welcome Hercules and Phil to your valley at the conclusion of the quest.

Prerequisites for The ‘A Real Godly Mess’ Quest
Before you can get the ‘A Real Godly Mess‘ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have access to the Dreamlight Valley castle.
- Unlock the Hercules Realm (14,000 Dreamlight).
- Complete the ‘Moonlighting As A Hero‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Speedrun Crash Course‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Thunderstruck‘ quest.
You can check the status of the quest any time in the main menu ‘Quests’ section. It will appear with a Phil icon.
Find Missing Mosaic Pieces
The first order of business for the ‘A Real Godly Mess’ quest is to find the missing pieces of the family mosaic. They’ll glow gold, and you’ll need to use your Royal Pickaxe to remove the rocks and obstacles blocking the way.
The pieces will also move, so you’ll need to get close enough to the pieces to interact with them. Once you interact with them, you’ll collect them.
There will be a total of 6 mosaic pieces to collect. Talk to Phil once you’ve found all the pieces.
Approach the family mosaic and interact with it. You’ll need to use the puzzle pieces on the left to construct the proper family mosaic picture.
Family Mosaic Puzzle Solution
Return to the valley once you’ve fixed the family mosaic. Place Hercules’ house somewhere in the valley.
Use the ‘Furniture’ mode from your inventory to place Hercules’ Villa. You can access it quickly by using the Phil shortcut icon.
Interact with the construction sign once the area has been marked out for his house. You’ll need to pay 10,000 star coins to build the house.
Welcome Hercules and take a selfie using the in-game camera function. Make sure you have any 5-star meal in your inventory, then return to the Hercules Realm.
Interact with the nearby Hermes platform to teleport to the temple. Talk to Phil to give him the 5-star meal you brought.
Search around the temple for any clues that might help you find out who messed up the mosaic. Talk to Phil once you’ve found a clue.
This conversation will automatically give you another quest called ‘A Tangled Web‘. Return to the main valley with Phil to officially welcome him.
You can use the Hermes platform to get right back to an exit point. Once you return to the valley and welcome Phil, the quest will complete.
