The person who took the staff from the vault in Palia’s Kilima Village, has found their way through the Echo Wall. Following them has also revealed the level of corruption in the Elderwood beyond the Echo Wall.
Ulfe seems to think you and Subira can help with the corruption situation, but he doesn’t have the vocabulary to explain well. Now, after venturing into the Zendruu Tree you’ve been separated from him.
Prerequisites For The ‘Do Not Go Gentle’ Quest
To unlock the ‘Do Not Go Gentle’ quest in Palia, you’ll need to do the following first:
- Have access to the Elderwood.
- Complete the main story through ‘Something Wicked‘.
- Complete the ‘Even As A Shadow‘ quest.
You can check the status of the quest once you have it by visiting the main menu ‘Quests’ tab. You’ll find the quest listed in the ‘Main Story’ tab under the ‘Quests’ tab.
It will be listed in the ‘Main’ category of quests. It will show the main story quest symbol.
How To Get The ‘Do Not Go Gentle’ Quest
To get the ‘Do Not Go Gentle’ quest in Palia, you’ll simply need to do the prerequisites. Once the prerequisites are met, you’ll automatically be given this quest.
Find Ulfe
Ulfe disappeared after entering the Zendruu Tree. The tree put the rest of you back in your original location.
You’ll need to search the area to find Ulfe. When you find Ulfe and approach, a conversation will automatically begin.
Answers For Ulfe’s Location
From the entrance at the Echo Wall, take the first left. It should have some ruins and another Echo Wall.
If you’re coming from the Zendruu Tree, travel back to the Elderwood Central Stables Echo Wall entrance, but take the last right to get to the ruins and another Echo Wall.
Approach the floating Echoling and chat with it. Sabotage 3 ballistae to help clean up its home.
Interact with the ballistae to clean the Echo residue from the battlefield. Return to the Angry Echoling and talk to it.
Harvest 3 debris nearby. You also have the option to collect all available debris.
Use the proper tool for the type of debris pile:
- Pickaxe on piles with stone
- Axe on piles with lumber
After you break the debris pile, you’ll be able to loot it for resources. Interact with the sign outside of the Angry Echoling’s house ruins.
There will be 3 bundles to complete. If you chose to collect materials from all the debris piles, you’ll have everything you need to fill the bundles.
Here is what you’ll need:
- 25 Ancient Wood
- 10 Heartwood
- 10 Sapwood
- 10 Palium Ore
- 1 Platinum Ore
- 25 Whitestone
- 10 Stone
When you’ve completed all the bundles, talk to the Angry Echoling to let them know you’ve fixed their home.
Flower Bed Puzzle Answer
From left to right, plant in this order:
Bluebells
Tulips
Gardenia
Roses
Interact with the pots near Subira to select the flowers you want. Plant them in the planter boxes.
Interact with the pedestal at the flower beds to check your flower arrangement. When you’ve correctly arranged the flowers, you can talk to the Angry Echoling.
Pick the Flowflower, then talk with Subira about the situation. This will complete the quest, and give you the next quest, ‘All That Is Not Gold‘.
