If you’ve been working on developing your Ranching skill in Palia, you may be wondering when and how you can unlock the beloved Ormuus. They are larger animals and will take up more of your resources to care for.
Delaila knows when you’re ready to start caring for Ormuus though, so find out how you can unlock your very own. Make sure you have enough space for an additional animal first.
Prerequisites To Get Ormuus
Before you can get Ormuus to care for, you’ll need to do the following:
Complete the ‘Ranching 101‘ quest.
Complete the ‘Ranching 102‘ quest.
Reach Ranching skill level 7.
There won’t be an involved special quest for unlocking Ormuus. Just a simple conversation.
Talk To Delaila
Once you level up your Ranching skill to level 7, Delaila will show up in the Ranching area. Talk to her to unlock the ability to care for Ormuus.
She’ll give you a voucher to exchange at the cash register in the Ranching section. There will also be an option to purchase one for 2,500 gold.
Make sure you pick the option you want. The voucher option should be the first Ormuu purchse option, and the one which costs gold should be underneath.
You’ll need to head to the animal nursery area once you’ve turned in your voucher to greet your new baby Ormuu. Interact with your new Ormuu to give it a name.
You’ll be able to feed and pet your baby Ormuu. Continue to check in on it and care for it as it grows.
Ormuu traits and the animal’s status will be visible with the same interface that you experienced with Pekis and Trufflets. Congrats on getting your first Ormuu!
