There’s a new skill in the Palia game, and it’s Ranching. Once you’re used to caring for Pekis, Delaila will determine that you’re able to take on the challenge of caring for Trufflets.

Prerequisites For Unlocking Trufflets
To unlock the ability to care for trufflets in Palia, you’ll need to do the following:
- Complete the ‘Ranching 101‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Ranching 102‘ quest.
- Achieve level 4 Ranching skill.
- Receive Peki treats at level 3 Ranching skill from Delaila (at Ranching area).
You won’t receive a special quest to unlock Trufflets. This will happen with only the leveling of your Ranching skill and some conversations with Delaila.
Talk To Delaila
Delaila will show up at the ranching area so you’ll need to chat with her to get the Peki treats around Ranching level 3 after you have your baby Peki.
Once you reach Ranching skill level 4, she’ll be there again to talk to you and unlock the ability to care for Trufflets.
Trufflets can be purchased from the cash register in the Ranching area. She’ll give you a special token for a free Trufflet so you won’t need to spend money to get the first one.
When you get the Trufflet, it will be a baby and will be located in the nursery area at the Ranching site. Interact with your new Trufflet to give it a name.
Similary to the Pekis, you’ll be able to pet and feed your Trufflet. You can also check out it’s traits and status effects when you interact with it.
Trufflets after the free one cost 1,500 gold. Newly purchased Trufflets will also be babies, and can be found in the nursery area.
