Cogimyun may just be the most shy character in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, but she’s become braver after getting to know you, Hello Kitty and Chococat. She may finally be ready to search for Ebi Fry.
Support Cogimyun on her journey through Friendship Island. Find out if you can bring Ebi Fry home to Wheatflour Wonderland, and what Ebi Fry really looks like.
Prerequisites For The ‘Rescue! Friendship Island Awaits’ Quest
To get the ‘Rescue! Friendship Island Awaits’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have the Wheatflour Wonderland DLC.
- Complete the ‘Potion Problems‘ quest.
- Have access to Spooky Swamp.
- Have access to Gemstone Mountain.
- Complete the ‘Dessert-ed Boat‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Bring Back The Swing‘ quest.
You can check the status of the quest any time in the ‘Quests’ section of the main menu. Under the ‘Active Quests’ tab, you’ll find this quest in the ‘Wheatflour Wonderland‘ section.
Talk To Cogimyun
To begin the ‘Rescue! Friendship Island Awaits’ quest, talk to Cogimyun. They will be wandering near the Cream Wheatflower fields by the entrance area of Wheatflour Wonderland.
Cogimyun thinks she might be ready to search Friendship Island for her friend Ebi Fry. The first order of business to prepare for Cogimyun’s trip is to talk with Hello Kitty.
Cogimyun will meet you at the café. Talk to Hello Kitty once you arrive. According to Cogimyun, Ebi Fry is a baby shrimp.
When you leave the café, Cogimyun will be waiting for you just outside the entrance. Talk to Cogimyun to begin the search.
Chococat has also joined the hunt, and suggests that you begin by searching near his crafting bench. Follow Cogimyun to the crafting bench and talk to her continue the search.
Cogimyun becomes a little curious about Chocolate’s crafting bench. Make a Blank Book to show her how the crafting bench works.
You’ll need the following materials:
- 3 Paper
OR
- 3 Lotus Blossom
Talk to Cogimyun after your crafting demonstration. You can then fast-travel to the main Spooky Swamp waypoint.
Talk to Kuromi once you get to the Spooky Swamp. She and the rest of the people helping Cogimyun will be on the pier outside the potion hut.
Travel to Gemstone Mountain next. The main Gemstone Town fast-travel waypoint will get you close to the dance hall.
Enter the dance hall and talk to Pekkle, who should be inside. You’ll need a Mama’s Pudding to help Pompompurin wake up.
If you don’t already have a Mama’s Pudding in your inventory, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 Cactus Cream
- 1 Banana
- 1 Coral Milk
Use the gift function to give Pekkle a Mama’s Pudding for Pompompurin. Head to the dessert boat. It may take the others a little while to catch up to you.
Once everyone is in the Dessert Boat, talk to Cogimyun. You’ll then need to head back to Wheatflour Wonderland and meet up with Cogimyun and the others at the Royal Gardens.
Talk to Cogimyun. This will complete the quest and unlock access to the following quests:
- Ebi Fun
- The Art Of Science
- Castle Crew
