Just when we thought furniture and appliances in Hello Kitty Island Adventure couldn’t possibly get any cuter, we were proven wrong. My Sweet Piano is all about cuteness, and she’s noticed a way to make certain things on Friendship Island even cuter.
Take My Sweet Piano around Friendship Island to get more familiar with the area, and be prepared to do a bit of crafting. You’ll have some sweet rewards for this quest.
Prerequisites For The ‘Mini Mode’ Quest
In order to get the ‘Mini Mode’ quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll need to complete the following:
- Have access to diving (snorkel).
- Have access to Rainbow Reef.
- Have access to Gemstone Mountain.
- Have Hangyodon at friendship level 12 or greater.
- Have Pekkle at friendship level 12 or greater.
- Have Pompompurin at friendship level 15 or greater.
- Have My Sweet Piano welcomed to Friendship Island.
- Complete the ‘Revive The Oasis‘ quest.
- Complete ‘The Fun In Furniture‘ quest series. (Link will take you to part 2)
You can check the status of the quest any time in the main menu ‘Quests’ section. You’ll find the quest under the ‘Active Quests’ category, in ‘The Right Tools’ section.
Talk To My Sweet Piano
Talk to My Sweet Piano to get the quest started. She wants you to come with her and My Melody on their trip around Friendship Island.
You’ll be relocated to the Gemstone Mountain area. After some conversation, you’ll need to make 4 Strawberry Sodas.
To make the sodas you’ll need:
- 4 Fizzy Crystals, or 24 Fizzy Ore
- 4 Strawberries
| Even if you have Strawberry soda in your inventory, you’ll still need to craft 4 to continue the quest. |
Use the gift function to pass out Strawberry Sodas to Pekkle, My Sweet Piano, and My Melody. Next, you’ll need to head to the Dessert Boat to check out Pompompurin’s Dessert Machine.
Use the Magnifying Glass to interact with the Dessert Machine and show it off to My Sweet Piano. She’ll want to make mini customizable versions of the machines.
| If you’ve already crafted machines and placed them in cabins, you can pick up the machines which will fulfill the quest requirements. You can then turn them in to My Sweet Piano. |
You’ll need the following machines to continue the quest:
- Dessert Machine
- Espresso Machine
- Soda Machine
Dessert Machine
To craft your own Dessert Machine, you’ll need the following:
- 10 Mechanisms or 30 Gizmos
- 100 Cactus Cream
- 5 Sparks or 15 Light Stones
Espresso Machine
To craft the Espresso Machine, you’ll need the following materials:
- 10 Mechanisms or 30 Gizmos
- 100 Candlenuts
- 5 Sparks or 15 Light Stones
Soda Machine
To craft the Soda Machine in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll need to have the following materials:
- 10 Ingots or 30 Iron
- 100 Fizzy Crystals or 600 Fizzy Ore
- 5 Sparks or 15 Light Stones
Return to My Sweet Piano and use the gift function to give her all 3 machines. You’ll have to give her the machines one at a time, and each time you’ll receive a mini version of the machine, as well as crafting plans for the mini version of the machine.
You can then interact with the furniture customization table next to My Sweet Piano to customize the mini machines if you want. The quest will be complete after you give all the machines to My Sweet Piano, no customizing is necessary to complete the quest.
