If you’ve been playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ve probably noticed that your main method of progression is by making friends. As you level your friendship up with the characters, you’ll unlock special quests.
How to Get The Quest ‘A Friend Indeed: Part 1’
To get this quest you’ll need to increase your friendship level with My Melody to level 15. Once you reach the correct friendship level, My Melody should automatically have the quest for you.
When this quest becomes available, she may move locations. If she’s not in her store, she should be standing in the Plaza just outside the store. Speak with her to begin the quest.
You should also progress enough with Chococat to have the crafting bench accessible.
How to Complete the Quest
To complete this quest, you will first need to collect quite a few materials to help My Melody with her plans.
- 10 Woodblocks
- 10 Fabric
- 10 Mechanisms
To craft these materials you’ll need to have:
- 50 sticks, or 70 coconuts
- 30 thread, 50 coconuts, or 70 lotus blossoms
- 30 gizmos
You’ll want to check the crafting bench to see which recipes you can access, and collect whichever items you’ll need. Once you have crafted everything you need, return to My Melody.
Use the gift function to give My Melody all the items. This is the end of the quest, and My Melody tells you to wait a day. This is one real-life day. Check with My Melody the following day.
Talk to My Melody the next real-life day to see the conclusion of part 1. This will also allow you to get the part 2 quest.
