In Palia, getting to know your neighbors is part of what it means to live in Kilima Village. Each character has a personality that you get to know through quests and daily chats.
Badruu and Delaila are the most wholesome couple in Kilima Village, and they are always thinking of each other and trying to make one another happy. This time, Delaila has a plan to organize a surprise picnic for her and Badruu.
Prerequisites For ‘A Picnic To Remember’
To get the discovery quest, ‘A Picnic To Remember’, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have Delaila at friendship level greater than level 2.
- Complete Delaila’s level 2 friendship quest (can help gain proper amount of friendship experience).
- Visit the Elderwood at least 1 time.
You can check the status of the quest if you visit the main menu quest log. Under the ‘Quests’ tab, you’ll find the quest in the ‘Discovery’ section.
Talk To Delaila
You’ll need to chat with Delaila to pick up this discovery quest. Delaila wants to plan a special picnic for Badruu, but she’s a little swamped with work.
You’ll be able to help Delaila out by either dealing with patching Auni’s pants, or taking care of the soup for the picnic.
Soup Path
If you chose the path to take care of the soup for Buttercup, who isn’t feeling too well, you’ll need to gather the following:
- 1 Flowtato
- 1 Koppa Nut
- 1 Honey
- 1 Elder Clam Mushroom Meat
Once you’ve gathered all the ingredients, return to Delaila and talk to her. Delaila will ask you to put the ingredients on the stove.
You can enter the farmhouse and interact with the stove. Return to Delaila to let her the know the soup’s done.
Pants Path
If you chose the option to help mend Auni’s pants you’ll have different tasks to complete. You’ll need to take the pants to Jel to see if they can be patched.
You’ll need to collect 5 Muskin to help Jel patch the pants. Craft Muskin by using the loom to turn mushrooms into Muskin. Any mushroom will work. You’ll need a total of 5 mushrooms to get enough Muskin.
Once either path has been done, you’ll have a discussion with Delaila and Badruu and the quest will complete.
