There’s another update to the Palia game, which means another bulletin board quest. This patch (0.200) is called ‘Winter’s Wonder: Riffrocin’ New Year’.
The Luna New Year celebration is happening, but some of the residents of Kilima Village and Bahari Bay need extra help. Find out how you can help this celebration continue as planned.
Prerequisites For The ‘Curious Case Of The Riffroc-Intro’ Quest
If you’ve done bulletin board quests before in Palia, you can jump straight to the bulletin board details. If you have never done a bulletin board quest, you may need to complete other tasks first to unlock it.
To get bulletin board quests:
- Complete building your home.
Or
- Complete your first add-on.
- Have ranching skill at level 2 (to take advantage of main bundle reward).
Once you’ve met the prerequisites, you should visit the bulletin board in Kilima Village. You’ll find it across from the Town Hall in the center of town.
When you check the bulletin board, you’ll receive a pop-up to accept the ‘Curious Case Of The Riffroc-Intro’ quest. After accepting the quest, you can check the status in the main menu ‘Quests’ tab.
The quest will be in the ‘Quests’ heading under the ‘Event’ category. You’ll be able to track the quest if you desire. If you complete all the bundles, you should get an “outro” quest to receive the main reward.
Talk To Kenyatta
The first thing you’ll need to do after accepting the ‘Curious Case Of The Riffroc-Intro’ quest, is talk to Kenyatta. She’s in charge of the Luna New Year celebration, and suddenly everything seems to be going wrong.
Talk to the following people to get details about what happened to each of them:
- Delaila
- Zeki
- Hodari
Return to Kenyatta and talk to her about what you found out from the other villagers. This will complete the quest, and you can then view the bulletin board to see the available bundles.
When you complete bundles, you’ll:
- Increase friendship with:
- Delaila
- Zeki
- Hodari
- Kenyatta
- Obtain Lunar Path experience.
- Obtain Kilima Coins.
- Acquire a special voucher to receive a new ranching animal.
