As of the 0.194 update in Palia, a new feature has been added. Kenli will show up to your housing plot with a quest to introduce you to the new feature, as long as you’ve met the prerequisites.
If you’ve been playing Palia for a while now, you’re probably fine. If you’re new to Palia, check the prerequisites and then keep an eye out for Kenli’s visit.
Prerequisites For ‘A Midsummer’s Daydream: Intro’
You’ll need to do a few things before Kenli will show up at your housing plot with this quest:
- Complete building your house.
Or
- Complete your first add-on.
You can check the status of this quest by visiting the ‘Quests’ section of the main menu. It should be located in the ‘Main Story’ tab, in the ‘Guide’ section.
Talk To Kenli
To get the quest started, just talk to Kenli when he shows up at your housing plot. He’s in a bit of a predicament due to the chapaas that he loves so much.
His traditional party is at risk of being cancelled due to damage from the chapaas who are in the midst of their mating season. Kenli’s allergies are preventing him from doing too much, so he’ll need your help.
Head to the center of town, where there is a bulletin board near the cracked orb monument. Interact with the bulletin board to see what Kenli needs to save his party.
You’ll see 4 bundles of items that Kenli needs you to collect or craft. The four bundles are named as follows:
- Midsummer Feast
- Midsummer Decor
- Midsummer Flowers
- Midsummer Gift Bag
Midsummer Feast Bulletin Bundle
You’ll need the following items to complete the Midsummer Feast bundle:
- 1 Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin (Star Quality)
- 1 Celebration Cake (Star Quality)
- 1 Oysters Akwinduu (Star Quality)
- 1 Eleroo Eel (Star Quality)
Midsummer Decor Bulletin Bundle
For the Midsummer Decor bundle, you’ll need to get crafting. Here’s what you’ll need to provide:
- 1 Bellflower Dining Table
- 10 Bellflower Dining Chairs
- 1 Bellflower Regal Fountain
- 4 Bellflower Flower Planters
Misdummer Flowers Bulletin Bundle
To replant Kenli’s flower gardens that were ruined by the chapaas, you’ll need to obtain the following:
- 25 Chapaatail Flowers
- 25 Cottonball Flowers
- 25 Rose Flowers
- 25 Elderwood Lilacs
Midsummer Gift Bag Bulletin Bundle
Kenli wants to be able to give gifts to the party guests, so he’ll need you to collect items to put in the bags:
- 1 Emerald
- 9 Quartz
- 10 Emerald Ogopuu Scale
- 9 Dragon’s Beard Peat
As soon as you interact with the bulletin board to check the bundles, the quest will complete.
