If you’ve already been working on the case of the missing shipping crates, you’ve been helping My Melody and Kuromi find “treasure”. Kuromi has been obsessed with the Pirate Pearl books, and has had a great time searching for My Melody’s lost “treasure”.

My Melody thinks all the missing treasure has finally been found, so it’s time to meet her at Small Gift Big Smile.

Prerequisite For The ‘Chasing The Horizon’ Quest

To get the ‘Chasing The Horizon’ quest, you’ll need to do the following first:

You can check the quest any time in the main menu. Select the ‘Quests’ option from the main menu, and then you’ll find it under the ‘Active Quests’ tab in the ‘Friendship Quests’ section.

Talk To My Melody

Talk to My Melody to begin the ‘Chasing The Horizon’ quest. She should be in her shop unless you have an in-progress quest with her.

After chatting with her, you’ll need to visit Spooky Swamp. You’ll need to search the western coastline of the area.

If you check the map, you’ll notice a pirate hat icon, which is the quest icon. It will mark the spot to search. The main fast-travel waypoint, Spooky Swamp, should get you fairly close.

There will be a blue exclamation point over the new addition to the area. Interact with the new addition. Now that the sensor has been calibrated to find My Melody’s missing shipping crates, she’s thought of a way to keep using the “magic compass”.

You’ll now be able to check the treasure hunt board for a daily treasure. The Nul standing nearby can give hints if you need them.

The sensor should react the closer you get to the treasure, though there will also be a marked search zone on your map once you interact with the board. This concludes the saga of the missing shipping crates.
