Who could turn a task from searching for missing crates, into something more fun, like searching for treasure? Kuromi could. My Melody can use all the help she can get to find her missing shipments.
Combine Kuromi’s sense of fun, and Chococat’s tech, to enjoy the next part of the search for the missing shipments. Plus, who wouldn’t want to play a pirate searching for underwater treasure?

To get the ‘Pirate Pearl’ quest, you’ll need to do the following first:
- Have access to Spooky Swamp.
- Have access to Rainbow Reef.
- Have access to Gemstone Mountain.
- Have Kuromi at friendship level 6 or higher.
- Complete the ‘Deep Diving’ quest.

Talk To My Melody

To start the ‘Pirate Pearl’ quest, you need to talk to My Melody. She is usually in her shop, unless you have other in-progress quests.
During the previous quest, ‘Cursed Crates’, Chococat thought he could fine-tune the sensor you used to locate crystals to also find My Melody’s shipping crates.
Talk to Chococat to see if he had success with the sensor. You’ll then need to use the sensor to find 3 more of My Melody’s missing shipping crates.
Three search zones will appear on the map to indicate where you should begin your searching in Rainbow Reef. You can find these easily without using the sensor, or you can equip the sensor to make the search even faster.
Map Search Zones

Talk to My Melody once you’ve collected all 3 missing crates. Meet up with My Melody, Kuromi, and Chococat at Small Gift, Big Smile. Talk to Kuromi once you’re all together.
You’ll receive My Melody-themed items such as a wallpaper, planter, and tea set in addition to Kuromi-themed items like a light, and candy jar. This will also give you access to the next quest, ‘Chasing The Horizon‘, after you wait one real-life day.
