If you’ve been on Friendship Island for a while in the Hello Kitty Island Adventure game, you’ve probably noticed that packages tend to end up in a lot of different locations. Mostly, locations they shouldn’t be.
My Melody is having difficulty tracking down some of her packages. They’ve been missing longer than usual and she wants to take matters into her own hands. Help her track down the missing parcels.
Prerequisites For The ‘Stray Shipments’ Quest
In order to get the ‘Stray Shipments’ quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll need to do the following:
Have access to Spooky Swamp.
Have access to Rainbow Reef.
Have access to Gemstone Mountain.
Have Kuromi at friendship level 6 or higher.
Complete the ‘Deep Diving‘ quest.
Obtain the snorkel.
You can check the status of this quest by visiting the ‘Quests’ portion of the main menu. You’ll find it under the ‘Friendship Quests’ section.
Talk To My Melody
Talk to My Melody to begin the quest. She’ll want to visit Tuxedosam about whether he’s seen any shipments for My Melody. He’ll have some ideas about who else might have seen any stray packages around the island.
Talk to Pochacco next to see if he’s noticed any packages during his excursions around the island. He should be in his usual spot at the Resort Plaza unless you have an in-progress quest with him.
Next, visit Kuromi to ask about any missing packages. You’ll head to Rainbow Reef after your conversation with Kuromi. Use the Comedy Club fast-travel waypoint to meet up with My Melody and Kuromi.
Talk to My Melody when you arrive to see how the search is going. Kuromi will give her an idea that the packages might have become stuck beneath one of the docks on the island.
You’ll need to head to the Gemstone Mountain area to check the docks there. The dock to search will have an exclamation point over it.

You can get closest to the docks by using the Gemstone Beach fast-travel waypoint if you have it unlocked. Head East from the waypoint to get to the dock.
Swim just underneath the dock, and use the magnifying glass to interact. You’ll “search” the immediate area, then the quest will update. Head back to the Comedy Club to see if the others had any success.
Talk to Hangyodon when you reach the Comedy Club. This will complete the quest. You’ll receive 5 Iron Ingots, and the quest will indicate that you should check back tomorrow to see if you can find more of My Melody’s missing shipments. This should unlock the ‘Cursed Crates‘ quest for the following day.
