A new story begins with the ‘Prologue: Continue?’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. A glitchy arcade machine appears on the bridge leading to the Dream Castle.
Work with The Forgotten to find out more about the machine. You might just bring another good friend back to the valley.

Prerequisites For The ‘Prologue: Continue?’ Quest
To begin the ‘Prologue: Continue?’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have access to the Forgotten Lands.
- Finish The Forgotten main storyline.
- Unlock the Forgotten.
- Unlock Peter Pan.
- Complete ‘The Music’s On The Walls‘ quest.
- Interact with the arcade machine on the bridge to the Dream Castle.
You can check the status of the quest in the ‘Quest’ section of the main menu. It will appear wth The Forgotten’s icon.
Talk To The Forgotten
Once you’ve found the glitchy arcade game on the bridge to the Dream Castle, you’ll need to talk to The Forgotten. It feels a little familiar, but you can’t quite pur your finger on it.
The Forgotten doesn’t remember anything about the glitchy arcade machine, and suggests that you visit Scrooge McDuck’s store. When you visit the store, you’ll see piles of glitchy cables all over the floor.
Interact with the piles to remove them. There should be 5 piles to remove. As you remove the cables, snacks will appear.
You’ll need to catch the following snacks inside the store:
- 3 Glitching Root Beer
- 3 Glitching Pie
Listen to the glitchy arcade machine. It should have speech bubbles that appear eventually to tell you what the machine needs.
Once you’ve listened to the machine’s issue, interact with the machine to give it the snacks you collected. Talk to The Forgotten about the situation.
They will recommend searching the valley for more of the glitchy cable piles. If you need help while searching, you can talk to The Forgotten.
The Forgotten will follow you during this part of the quest, so they will be easily accessible if you need help.
Search Answer
Visit the Forgotten Lands, and search the large treehouse.
When you’ve found the glitchy arcade machine, you’ll need to remove the piles of bricks nearby. Use your Royal Pickaxe and remove 3 piles of bricks.
Interact with the arcade machine to give it the bricks. Talk to The Forgotten again about the situation.
Visit Vanellope’s house to see if the glitchy arcade machine is there. Talk to Vanellope when you arrive.
Remove the glitchy cables, and interact with the arcade machine to give it “bop”. Talk to Vanellope about the results.
Use the in-game camera function to take a selfie with Ralph. Cook Ralph a “My Hero” Cookie at any Cooking Station.
You’ll need the following to make the cookie:
- 1 Wheat
- 1 Butter
- 1 Sweetener (any type)
- 1 Coal Ore
Return to Vanellope’s house and talk to Vanellope when you arrive. After your discussion, pick up the game token and interact with the arcade machine.
Ralph is still not quite free. Try placing a house for him in the valley.
From your inventory, select the ‘Furniture‘ option to enter Furniture Mode. You can use The Forgotten icon shortcut at the top to access Ralph’s house quickly.
Ralph’s house takes up a large amount of space, so be sure to have a significant area clear of any items. It will cost 10,000 star coins to build Ralph’s house.
Welcome Ralph to the valley. Talk with him once he’s fully materialized. This will complete the quest, and you’ll receive the Fix-It Felix Jr. Arcade Cabinet as a furniture item reward.
