There are many biomes to enjoy in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it seems as if the Forgotten Lands are feeling a bit too creepy to Joy.
Work with Joy to try and add a bit more color to the Forgotten Lands. You may also find more pieces of the mysterious stuffed bear while you help Joy.
Prerequisites For The ‘Imagination Land’ Quest
To get access to the ‘Imagination Land’ quest, you’ll need to do the following first:
- Have Joy at friendship level 7 or higher.
- Progress with the following characters:
- Sadness
- The Fairy Godmother
- Unlock the following biomes:
- The Sunlit Plateau
- The Forgotten Lands
You can check the status of the quest any time in the main menu ‘Quests’ ssection. The quest will appear with a Joy icon.
How To Get The ‘Imagination Land’ Quest
Once all the prerequisites have been met, you can talk to Joy to obtain the ‘Imagination Land’ quest. Follow her to the Forgotten Lands after your conversation with her.
If you lose track of her, you should be able to see her icon on the map, or check by the Forgotten Lands wishing well. Talk to her when you find her.
Enter the Fairy Godmother’s house and search for the ‘Forgotten Lands Biome Plans’. If the Fairy Godmother is in the way, you can walk into her to push her out of the way or wait until later.
Pick up the plans when you find them. They’ll be on the floor of her house. Talk to Joy to give her the plans.
Clean up the Forgotten Lands area by doing the following:
- Put out 5 Green Fires.
- Remove 7 Night Thorns.
Joy may follow you while you’re cleaning up the Forgotten Lands. Talk to her when you’re done with the tasks.
Gather the following materials to craft an Imagination Land Arch:
- 3 Topaz
- 10 Dark Wood
- 2 Yellow Nasturtium
Visit any Crafting Station in Dreamlight Valley when you have all the necessary materials. Interact to craft the arch.
You’ll find the Imagination Land Arch recipe on the ‘Furniture’ tab of the crafting recipes. Talk to Joy to give her the arch you crafted.
Gather the following for Joy’s plans:
- 10 Sunflowers
- 20 Yellow Daisies
- 60 Clay
- 20 Soil
When you have the materials (they do NOT need to be in your inventory), visit any Crafting Station. Craft 10 Flower Pots. The recipe should be highlighted with Joy’s icon on the ‘Furniture’ tab.
Next, craft 10 Sunflower and Daisy Pots. The recipe will show up on the ‘Furniture’ tab of the crafting recipes.
Meet Joy in the Forgotten Land. Talk to her once you arrive.
Use the ‘Furniture’ mode from your inventory to access the Joy shortcut icon. You can use the icon to quickly access the flower pots and arch.
Place the Sunflower and Daisy Pots, and the Imagination Land Arch somewhere in the Forgotten Lands.
Take a picture using the in-game camera function of the arch and flowers. Remove the Night Thorns that popped up. There should be 7 Night Thorns to remove.
Pick up the Brown Plush Bear Yarn that appeared while removing the Night Thorns. Talk to Merlin about your latest find.
Joy will automatically follow you for this part of the quest as well. Talk to Joy after your conversation with Merlin. This will complete the quest.
