It’s time to welcome a new Lunar Path to Palia with the 0.205 update, “Sunkissed Summer: Beauty and the Beach”. The Shimmerfly migration is occurring and Auni needs your help.
Team up with Auni to tackle the new Bulletin Board Bundles. Bring the snacks, and have your bug bombs and lures at the ready.
Prerequisites For The ‘Scouting For Shimmerflies: Intro’ Quest
To get Bulletin Board quests, you’ll need to have advanced a certain amount in the Palia game. You’ll need to:
- Complete the ‘Learning The Ropes’ quest.
- Build your first home – OR – your first add-on.
- Have the ability to craft and/or buy bug bombs.
To get the ‘Scouting For Shimmerflies: Intro’ quest, you’ll need to interact with the Bulletin Board in the center of Kilima Village. You’ll see an icon with an exclamation point above the board.
You can check the status of the quest in the ‘Quests’ section of the menus. The quest will appear in the ‘Quests’ tab, under the ‘Events’ category heading.
Talk To Auni
For the latest Palia patch, 0.205, we have more summer fun. The Shimmerflies are migrating, but Auni has noticed that they have been taking a different route for the past few years.
The good news is that some Shimmerflies are back in Kilima this year. The Bug Scouts host a Shimmerfly-catching competition every year during the migration.
According to Auni, the troop with the most catches get awarded “special honors”. The catches have to be properly recorded by an Official Temporary Interim Bug Scouts Scoutleader to be valid. That’s your new job.
You’ll have the option to go with Auni during the discussion which will teleport you directly to the Bulletin Board. If you select the other option, you can visit the Bulletin Board when you’re ready.

The ‘Sunkissed Summer: Beauty and the Beach’ 0.205 patch for Palia provides 4 new Bulletin Board Bundles. Completing the bundles provides numerous rewards along with Lunar Path XP.
You can also complete Daily Quests to earn Lunar Path XP, just in case you can’t fully complete bundles. Any bundles you don’t complete will give the items back at the end of the Lunar Path.
