Palia is a cozy game that lets you explore, decorate, farm, mine, craft, cook, and enjoy spending time with friends. The characters are memorable, and will sometimes seek you out for a quest.
Auni is the Kilima Village mail delivery person, but he’s also itching to explore and have some adventures. You never know what he might have gotten himself into, and this time, he’ll be waiting for you at your house.
Prerequisites For ‘Adventure On The Horizon’
The ‘Adventure On The Horizon’ quest in Palia, is a discovery quest. Auni will appear at your home plot to give you the quest and tell you just enough information to pique your curiosity.
You’ll need to do the following to get this quest:
- Reach level 30.
- Visit the Elderwood once.
- Complete ‘Learning The Ropes’ quest.

Your level will be shown on the character menu. It’ll be a number in a circle next to your focus bar, beneath your character. The avatar level is circled in the reference picture above if you have difficulty finding your overall level.
Meet Auni At The Secret Cave
When you get to the cave, you’ll have a chat with Auni. You’ll then need to follow him further into the cave. There’s a ramp to the left with a spray-painted symbol on the wall.
Follow that ramp to the lower level in the cave. Approach Auni again to start a conversation. He should be standing in front of a door that looks like the temples you’ve previously investigated.
You’ll need to head through that door. You’ll be confronted by a familiar-style sliding puzzle. You may need to chat with Auni an additional time to be able to interact with the puzzle.

Once you solve the puzzle, you’ll receive some loot from a chest and you’ll need to talk to Auni. This will complete the ‘Adventure On The Horizon’ quest. It will also automatically give you the next related quest, ‘Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure’.
