Palia Quest Guide: Nightly Terrors

Ulfe’s history in Palia has made it difficult for him to find restful sleep in the past. Tamala has given him sleeping potions to help him get some much-needed rest.

For some reason Ulfe doesn’t want the sleeping potions anymore, and Subira suspects Tamala might be to blame. Find out what the problem is, and why the potions are apparently no longer working.

Prerequisites For The ‘Nightly Terrors’ Quest

To get the ‘Nightly Terrors’ quest in Palia, it’s best to make sure you’ve done the following first:

• Have Subira unlocked.
• Complete the main Elderwood story through ‘Even As A Dream’.
• Complete the ‘Cats In The Cradle‘ quest.
• Have Ulfe at friendship level 2.

You can check the status of the quest by visiting the main menu ‘Quests’ tab. You’ll find the quest in the ‘Quests’ section, in the ‘Villager‘ category of quests.

Talk To Subira

Once you’ve completed the prerequisites for the ‘Nightly Terrors’ quest, you should automatically find Subira at your housing plot. She should have an exclamation point quest marker over her head.

Talk to her to see what she needs. She’ll explain that she’s having difficulty finding out what is troubling Ulfe.

For this quest, you may find Ulfe at Chayne’s temple clinic in Kilima Village. Talk to Ulfe once you arrive at the clinic. You can check the map for his location.

Ulfe strolls around Kilima Village, but is also sometimes in the Elderwood Central Stables area. Once you’ve found and spoken with Ulfe, meet him at his old house in the Elderwood area.

Head to the Elderwood Central Stables and venture through the Echo Wall to find him. You should see an icon with Ulfe’s head on the navigation bar at the top of your screen once you pass through the Echo Wall.

Talk to Ulfe once you find him. You’ll need to use your hoe to dig the dirt piles in the area to find a recipe paper.

Dig up all 5 piles of dirt. Talk to Ulfe once you’ve finished digging to tell him what you’ve found.

Visit Tamala to see if she can read the recipe you found. You’ll need to make some S’mores for Ulfe.

Talk to Ulfe once you’ve made the S’mores. This will complete the quest.
