There really is adventure in the air in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Mysterious winds seem familiar to Moana.
Join Moana for an adventure in the valley to find out what the winds want. You may just find an old friend on your adventure as well.

Prerequisites For The ‘Whispers In The Wind’ Quest
To get the ‘Whispers In The Wind’ quest, you’ll need to do the following first:
- Unlock Dazzle Beach
- Unlock Moana
- Unlock Moana’s boat
- Check in-game mail
You can check the status of the quest any time, once you’ve obtained it, by checking the main menu ‘Quests’ section. It will appear with a Moana icon.
How To Get The ‘Whispers In The Wind’ Quest
Once you’ve completed the prerequisites, you can check your in-game mailbox. You should have a mail message from Moana.
She has found some strange algae at Dazzle Beach and wants you to take a look at it. Search the shore at Dazzle Beach to find the strange Glowing Algae. This will officially begin the quest.
Bring the Glowing Algae to Moana and talk to her to give her the algae. Moana wants to go with you on a sea adventure to learn more about the Glowing Algae.
Meet Moana inside her home. Talk to her once you arrive. Interact with the special spot near the boating gear (oars, barrel, rope, etc.) to begin the adventure.
Talk to Moana once you’ve entered the new area. Search the Mystery Island for the Swirling Flower Petal Winds Moana discussed.
Talk to Moana while she’s near the Swirling Flower Petal Winds. She should join you by the winds, and a quest marker should appear above her head when she’s close enough to the petals.
Pick up the Memory Orb that appears. You’ll get a set of visual clues revealing dig spots on the Mystery Island.
Dig up the 2 spots on Mystery Island. Talk to Moana to give her what you’ve found.
Complete the Mystery Island Puzzle. Once you’ve completed the puzzle, talk to Moana again near the Swirling Flower Petal Winds.
Follow Moana to her boat at the dock. Talk to her once you’ve caught up to her at the boat.
Interact with the boat on Mystery Island to head out to sea. Head to the Mystery Island Rocks.
Talk to Moana once you arrive at the location. Interact with the oar on the boat near the sail to visit the Mystery Island Wreckage.
Pick up the sparkling planks floating in the water around the boat. Talk to Moana to give her the planks.
Interact with the oar and sail East to get back to the glowing whirlpool. Interact with the sparkling spot on the boat to place the planks.
Use the Royal Fishing Pole to see if you can catch anything helpful from the whirlpool. Interact with the oar to head back to Mystery Island (choose Let’s go back to the island’).
You’ll arrive at the docks of Mystery Island and there will be a Crafting Station with a ship’s wheel as you leave the dock. Interact with the Crafting Station to repair the jewelry.
Use the Moana icon shortcut at the top of the crafting interface to quickly access the quest recipe. Select the recipe and repair the necklace.
Return to the Swirling Flower Petal Winds and talk to Moana to show her the necklace. Interact with the boating gear near the dock to return to Dreamlight Valley.
From your inventory, select the ‘Furniture’ mode. Use the Moana shortcut icon at the top to access Pocahontas’ home (Yehakin) and place it somewhere in the valley.
Interact with the construction sign to build the house. You won’t need to pay any Star Coins to complete this house, Scrooge is feeling generous.
Welcome Pocahontas officially with a photo using the in-game camera function. Talk to Pocahontas after the picture. This completes the quest.
