The ‘Hugs & Hearts’ 2026 event has a lot of things to collect. It may seem confusing at first, but it’s not too overwhelming.

You’ll catch 1 Lovebug per day, and you can also find a heart Chocolate Box in the Seaside Resort area. Once you’ve collected a Chocolate Box, you’ll need to open your backpack.

Select the second circle from the left. The icon should look like a backpack with a star on it. Scroll through your displayed inventory items until you find the Chocolate Box.

Select it, and then open the box to receive an amount of Bonbons. With the Lovebugs and the Bonbons you can visit the event booth.

Interact with the event booth to view the possible rewards available. Past rewards should also be available at the booth.

When you exchange a Lovebug for an event reward, it will add the Lovebug to the Lovebug Habitat. You can check how many days there are until the Lovebugs hatch by interacting with the habitat event booth.

If you like to complete event collections, you’ll have 55 items to collect in total. You can check your progress by visiting the ‘Collections’ section of the main menu.

Select the ‘Events’ part of the ‘Collections’ and then view the ‘Hugs and Hearts’ event information. Any items you’ve obtained will be shown in full color, and ones you haven’t obtained will remain a mystery silhouette.
