The theme for the 0.198 Palia update is Winter’s Wonder: Home For Winterlights. Winterlights is a holiday in Palia, but Ashura isn’t feeling very celebratory.
Reth has some information, and a plan to try and make Ashura’s Winterlights celebration a bit merrier, but he needs help. Find out how you can make Reth’s life a little easier, and brighten Ashura’s holidays.
Prerequisites For The ‘Home For The Holidays’ Quest
To get the ‘Home for the Holidays’ quest in Palia, you’ll need to do the following:
- Complete building your initial house.
Or
- Complete your first add-on.
- Complete the ‘Bulletin Blitz‘ quest from Kenli.
You can check the status of this quest in the main menu ‘Quests’ section. You’ll find it in the ‘Quests’ tab under the ‘Event’ category.
Talk To Reth
To get the ‘Home for the Holidays’ bulletin board quest, you’ll need to first have the ‘Bulletin Blitz’ quest. Visit the bulletin board in front of the Town Hall in the center of Kilima Village.
Interact with the bulletin board and you’ll see a pop-up to accept the ‘Home for the Holidays’ quest. Once you accept it, you can talk to Reth.
He’ll explain the situation that has him worried, and how the lack of time is creating challenges for him. He could use some help bringing Ashura some much-needed seasonal cheer.
There will be 4 new bundles on the bulletin board. You’ll also be able to look at daily tasks, weekly tasks (weeklies), and villager requests all in one convenient place.
When you complete bundles you’ll:
- Increase friendship with Reth.
- Increase friendship with Ashura.
- Receive Kilima Coins.
- Obtain Lunar Path experience.
- Unlock special items in the Winterlights shop.
