There’s always time for adventure in the world of Palia. Nai’o is happy to tend to his chores and keep an eye on Auni, but this time he may have his work cut out for him.
Auni is hot on the trail of the mystery of Prismbeard. It means venturing into the Elderwood though, so he needs your help.
Prerequisites For The ‘Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure’ Quest
To get the ‘Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have friendship level 2 or higher with Auni.
- Complete the ‘Adventure On The Horizon‘ discovery quest.
You can check on the status of the quest by visiting in the main menu, and checking the ‘Quests’ tab. You’ll find this quest in the ‘Discovery’ quest section.
Find The Spot On The First Pirate Map
To find the first suspicious spot, you’ll need to read the pirate map you got during the ‘Adventure On The Horizon’ quest. You’ll find it in your inventory, in the section with an exclamation point icon.
You’ll see a map with a red “X” to mark the spot. You’ll also see spray-painted designs and a special spot to dig when you find the location.
Auni and Nai’o will both be waiting for you to arrive. Once you dig up the suspicious spot with your hoe, you’ll receive another map.
Find The Location For The Second Pirate Map
This one will also appear in the same place within your inventory. There will be another red “X” marked. You’ll need to guess the location based on the part of the Elderwood map that’s shown.
When you get close to the spot, you’ll find Auni and Nai’o waiting for you again. You’ll need to drop down to a cave below the area where Auni and Nai’o are standing.
Inside you should see the spray-painted mark on the floor and another suspicious spot to dig with the hoe. Dig up the spot to obtain the 3rd Pirate Map.
Find The Location For The Third Pirate Map
The location for the third Pirate Map is also marked with spray paint, and there’s a suspicious spot to dig nearby. It’s across from where Auni and Nai’o are facing, and you’ll have to climb up to the ledge to reach the proper spot.
Dig up the suspicious spot with your hoe. The note you find will be a riddle. Luckily, Auni has an idea about what the riddle means.
Return to the cave you found with the sliding puzzle in the ‘Adventure On The Horizon’ quest. You should be able to check the riddle in your inventory.
The Secret Prismbeard Cave
When you return to the Prismbeard’s secret cave, you should head back to the room with the sliding puzzle you solved in the ‘Adventure On The Horizon’ quest. The location of the entrance is marked by the blue cursor arrow on the map above.
The riddle you received will give you the clue you need to complete the quest. Once you enter the room with the sliding puzzle, you’ll have a list of phrases or actions to take.
Use the riddle to select the correct option. If you select the proper option, a treasure chest should appear in front of the sliding puzzle.

Pick the option that mentions Prismbeard’s demise.
When you loot the treasure chest, you’ll receive a Pirate’s Spyglass. Talk to Auni after looting the chest.
You’ll need to equip the spyglass. You’ll need to enter the character menu, and in the ‘Accessories’ section, click the second-to-last circle on the right. It should say ‘Quest Gear’ when you hover over it.
Once you click that, you’ll be able to see the Pirate Spyglass, and you can click it to equip it. Look around the room, and talk to the statue that is newly visible.
Tell Auni what you witnessed. This will complete the ‘Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure’ quest and lead to ‘The True Treasure‘ quest.
