Even though Friendship Island is full of amazing people, Cogimyun feels a bit intimidated. She thinks she needs to train to be able to traverse the island in search of Ebi Fry.
Work with Cogimyun to help encourage her during her training. She’ll get to know you more, and hopefully learn more about being brave.
Prerequisites For The ‘Montage Magic’ Quests
To get the ‘Montage Magic’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Have Wheatflour Wonderland DLC.
- Have Cogimyun at friendship level 5 or higher.
- Complete the ‘Potion Problems‘ quest.
- Complete the ‘Wheatflour Wonder‘ quest.
- Have access to Kuromi’s Potion Cauldron. (Optional)
You can check the status of the quest by checking the ‘Quests’ section of the main menu. In ‘Active Quests’, you’ll find ‘Montage Magic’ under the ‘Wheatflour Wonderland‘ heading.
Talk To Cogimyun
Starting this quest works like most other quests in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Just talk to Cogimyun once you’ve met the prerequisites.
Unless you have an in-progress quest with Hello Kitty, she can usually be found inside her café in the Seaside Resort. Meet her there and talk to her to request her help.
Help Hello Kitty arrange the motivational prizes for Cogimyun’s training. You’ll need to make 1 Tofu Bread, 1 Mama’s Apple Pie, and 1 Sugarkelp Cake.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to have:
- 3 Flour
- 1 Tofu
- 1 Apple
- 1 Sugarkelp
Even if you have the cooked items in your inventory, you’ll still need to cook these to continue the quest. Talk to Hello Kitty when you’ve made all the food.
Return to Wheatflour Wonderland and join Cogimyun. You’ll need to show Cogimyun how to run the training course first.
Collect 3 Bronze Flecks and 2 Silver Flecks. You can run the course as much as you need to collect enough Flecks.
Flecks will be given depending on how well you run the course. If you want a speed boost, and you have access to Kuromi’s potion cauldron, you could use a Speedy Walking Potion to help.
When you have all the necessary Flecks, the quest will update and you can talk to Cogimyun. You’ll need to use the gift function to give Cogimyun a Tofu Bread when Hello Kitty prompts you. For your next task, Cogimyun wants you to collect 15 Jemmies.
Return to Cogimyun once you’ve collected enough and talk to her. Use the gift function to give Cogimyun a Mama’s Apple Pie.
The next task Cogimyun gives you is to collect 5 Noodle Grass. Once you have the Noodle Grass, talk to Hello Kitty. She should have automatically followed you.
Find Cogimyun, and talk to her. She should be at the Citadel area. This will end the quest, and you’ll automatically get the next one called, ‘Blossoming Friendship’.
