Talk To Hodari

Once you’ve met the prerequisite for this quest, you’ll just need to talk to Hodari to get it. He needs a gift for a wedding, and he wants your help with gift ideas.

You’ll have a couple options for this quest. You can ask villagers about wedding gifts, or you can just craft a bar of platinum.

You’ll need to have the Platinum Bar recipe unlocked. The recipe will cost 5,000 gold to purchase.

If you decide to talk to villagers about the wedding gift, you can chat with the following people:

  • Najuma
  • Eshe
  • Sifuu

Make sure to talk to the villagers first before making the Platinum Bar in case it removes your ability to chat about the quest.

You’ll need a Heavy Smelter to craft the Platinum Bar, and 5 pieces of Platinum Ore. It will take roughly 11 minutes to smelt.

Platinum Ore can be found in the Elderwood area, though it is rare. It will be a white-and-gray-striped rock.

When you collect the Platinum Bar, the quest will update and you’ll need to return to Hodari. You can help him choose what type of gift to make for the wedding.

You’ll then need to help him by gathering Ancient Wood from the Elderwood area. Collect 10 pieces of Ancient Wood.

Talk to Hodari when you have the wood in your inventory. You’ll then need to wait 2-3 in-game days for a visit from Hodari to let you know how everything went with the wedding.
