Each character in Palia has an interesting history, and Einar is blessed with lots of information in addition to his own history. His database contains many facts and memories, some of which he has intentionally stored.
He needs your help with a personal request, which promises to give more insight into his existence. Find out how to get this quest and learn even more about Einar.
Prerequisites For ‘The King’s Voice’ Quest
To get the ‘King’s Voice’ quest you’ll want to do the following first:
Have Einar at friendship level 5.
Complete Einar’s ‘Flow‘ quest.
Complete ‘The Pebble‘ quest.
Complete ‘The Oneness‘ quest.
Complete ‘Rooted In Place‘ quest for more story coherence.
You can check the status of this quest at any time in the ‘Quests’ part of the main menu. In the ‘Quests’ tab of the ‘Quests’ menu, you’ll find it if you scroll down to the ‘Villager’ section.
Talk To Kilima Village Residents
There are many Palia residents you can speak with to ask about Einar’s creator, Mudan:
- Caleri
- Elouisa
- Reth
- Kenyatta
- Hekla
- Jina
- Tamala
- Nai’o
- The Gardener
Talk to all the above entities to get the most robust idea of who Mudan was. You may be able to read certain books in the library as well.
To get back to The Gardener, you’ll need to return to the Temple of the Roots. Take the portal to the portal hub, then use the portal to The Gardener.
Talk to The Gardener about Mudan. You’ll then have the option to find a console in the Temple of the Roots, or to be transported nearby.
Either option is fine to use, but it’s much faster to ask to be transported. Otherwise you’ll have to navigate through the obstacles in the temple again.
Find Mudan’s Console
After speaking with the Gardener, you’ll need to travel through the pipes or have the Gardener transport you closer to Mudan’s console room.
You’ll end up in a maze of pipes, but you’ll need to find a ladder that will take you into the room pictured above. The ladder will be in one of the large pipes that you can explore.
Directions To Find Console Room
After asking to be teleported nearby, travel through the pipe and descend the ladder. Take the first right, then a left, and another left. Climb up the ladder at the end of the tunnel.
Interact with the console and enter the password to gain access to the files you need.
Password Answer For Mudan’s Console

Once you’ve forwarded the voice logs to Mudan, meet with Einar. You’ll have the option to forward the void logs to the Gardener as well, which will give you some additional dialogue with Einar.
Einar will then ask you to meet him at his home. Speak with Einar, and then agree to spend time with him while he reminisces. You’ll get to see a small cutscene and the quest will complete.
