Hello Kitty Island Adventure has many items to gather, but not all of them are easy to spot. One of the gatherable items that is tricky to spot is Iron Ore. It’s also a little more rare in terms of how much is spawned on any given day.
There are a couple ways to obtain Iron Ore in the game, so we’ll let you know both ways and show you where and how to spot it.
How To Spot Raw Iron Ore

The raw Iron Ore has a muted color scheme when you encounter it. While foraging, it appears as mostly maroon with the grey-blue color dotting the surface. It can look “spotted”.
It can also appear more as the picture depicts, with the grey-blue color, and a hint of maroon on the bottom. This can make it difficult to spot, especially at night.
You’ll usually find Iron Ore on other rocks, so keep an eye out for the speckled maroon rocks, or more shiny grey-blue areas. Additionally, the Iron Ore spawns are a bit sparse.
Where To Find Raw Iron Ore

You’ll find raw Iron Ore in the Mount Hothead area. The lowest level of the area, and the level where Retsuko wanders are the easiest levels to find Iron Ore.
Additionally, you can find Iron Ore around the Red Hot Ruins area but it’s a bit more difficult to get to the area if you haven’t been able to upgrade your stamina, or don’t feel like going through the volcano.
The Crystal Caves are also a way to find iron ore. Those are the caves in Gemstone Mountain, near the train tracks.
Another Way To Get Iron Ore

The second way you can acquire Iron Ore is by using the gathering Nul. It’ll be right next to My Melody’s shop and you can speak with it each day to request that it gather a specific item.
The Nul will show you a list of items, among which should be Iron Ore. You can also see how many Iron Ore are available that day for gathering. If you don’t feel like trekking all over Mount Hothead, you can simply have the Nul gather for you.
You won’t be able to receive the Iron Ore the same day, however, you’ll receive it the next real-life day. So, if you need Iron Ore right away, it’s best to gather it yourself.
Once you have enough raw Iron Ore, you can use any Crafting Bench to turn it into Iron Ingots as long as you have the ingot recipe unlocked.
