How To Participate In The ‘Month Of Mischief’ Event
It’s Kuromi’s favorite season, and this year (2026), she has some mischief planned for Friendship Island. The Hello Kitty Cafe has become the Kuromi Kafe, and she’s cooked up some potions to gift to your island friends.
Here are the ways you can participate in the ‘Month of Mischief’ event:
- Login daily to obtain a reward.
- Complete daily quests to get Spooky Treats.
- Gift Kuromi’s potions to 2 island friends each day.
- Wear a ‘Spooky’ category outfit, or costume, and Trick-or-Treat during the game’s night phase.
- Check your in-game mail throughout the event for extra goodies.
- Collect potions around Seaside Resort by picking up regular items like Sand Dollars.
- Cook special Kuromi-themed treats with Kuromi Decorating Kits.
Each day you’ll need to talk to Kuromi or check your daily quests for 2 potion-gifting quests.. The quests let you know who to give the potion to, and then you’ll be able to give one of Kuromi’s Kool potions to the intended recipients.
You can Trick-or-Treat with 3 Friendship Island residents per real-life day. Anyone you Trick-or-Treat with after that will give you collectible items from around the island as “tricks”.
| You can get Kuromi Decorating Kits by gathering Pumpkins, Glowberries, Swampmallows, and Spinips in the Spooky Swamp area. |
How To Use Spooky Treats During The Month Of Mischief Event
As you collect Spooky Treats from talking to Kuromi and trick-or-treating in your Spooky themed clothing, you can save them to turn in for rewards at the event booth. Interact with the event booth to see all the different rewards available.
There will be the current rewards, as well as rewards from past October celebrations. Make sure to check all the different tabs to find your favorite rewards.
You can check what items you may have already collected by visiting the ‘Events‘ section of the ‘Collections‘ spot in your main menu. Once you select the usual name of the event ‘Spooky Celebration‘, you’ll be able to see all the possible rewards.
There are a total of 126 items to collect. Items you already have will show a full-color picture of the item as well as the date you obtained it.
Items you don’t have yet will simply show a dark silhouette of the item along with “???” as the name. These will update once you obtain the missing reward item.
