If you’re anything like Kuromi in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, it doesn’t need to be Halloween for you to want more spooky vibes. Whether you love spooky vibes, or think they’re gloomy, Kuromi could use your help.
Prerequisites For The ‘Gloomy Season’ Quest
To get the ‘Gloomy Season’ quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll need to achieve the following:
Have Hello Kitty at friendship level 15 or higher.
Have access to Spooky Swamp.
Complete ‘Delivery Service’ quest.
Have Jack-O-Lantern crafting plans unlocked at a crafting bench.
Wait until it is not the month of October.
You check the status of this quest at any time by checking your ‘Active Quests’ menu, and searching in the ‘Friendship Quests’ section.
Talk To Kuromi
To get this quest started, talk to Kuromi. She should be in Spooky Swamp, usually around the Pumpkin-shaped building, or around the main fast-travel waypoint, ‘Spooky Swamp’.
After talking to Kuromi, Cinnamoroll will ask you about what they overheard. He has an idea to lift Kuromi’s spirits.
You’ll need to cook the following:
- 1 Cinnamon Bread
- 1 Spooky Cake
You can cook these recipes at the Hello Kitty Café, or if you have your own oven, you can also access the necessary recipes that way.
The ingredients you’ll need are:
- 2 Flour
- 1 Magma Bloom or 1 Cinna Bloom
- 1 Pumpkin
- 1 Swampmallow
After you’ve made the treats, talk to Cinnamoroll. He’ll suggest that you make some appropriate mood lighting. Since it’s Kuromi, the obvious choice is a Jack-O-Lantern.
For this you’ll need 5 pumpkins. You can craft this at any crafting bench if you have the Jack-O-Lantern recipe unlocked.
Head back to Spooky Swamp to meet with Kurmoi. Use the gift function to hand over the cozy, spooky treats you made. This will complete the quest.
