There are some favorite characters in the Disney Dreamlight Valley game, and then there are some less-than-favorite characters. They all need some help and attention though, so it’s time to help Cruella find her fashion footing in the valley.
Find out how Cruella is settling into the valley. You may need to unruffle some feathers while you’re helping her.
Prerequisites For The ‘You’re Really Wearing That?’ Quest
To get the ‘You’re Really Wearing That?’ quest, you’ll need to do the following things:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete beginning Disney Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete beginning Wishblossom Ranch quests.
- Unlock Cruella.
- Unlock Alice.
- Unlock Snow White.
- Unlock Daisy.
- Have Cruella at friendship level 4 or higher.
You can check the status of the quest at any time by navigating to the main menu ‘Quests’ section. This quest will have a Cruella icon.
Talk To Cruella
To get the ‘You’re Really Wearing That?’ quest, you’ll need to talk to Cruella once all the prerequisites are met. You can find her location by checking the map in the main menu.
Cruella will give you a recipe book for Jellied Salad. Use the recipe from your inventory to learn it.
You’ll need the following ingredients to make enough Jellied Salad for Cruella’s meeting with Ursula:
- 2 Scarlet Kale (Farming)
- 2 Jellied Fish (Fishing orange/gold ripples in Glamour Gulch)
Once you’ve gathered the ingredients, you can interact with any cooking station to cook the recipe. There’s a cooking station in the quarry in Glamour Gulch.
You’ll see the Jellied Salad recipe at the top of your recipes, and it should have a quest marker on it as well. You’ll need to cook 2 portions, so you’ll need 2 coal for the cooking process in addition to the ingredients.
Bring the Jellied Snacks to Ursula. You should be able to find her on the map. She may be in the Silver Summit area, depending on what biomes you’ve unlocked.
You’ll need to take some pictures of the following villagers to show Cruella and Ursula:
- Snow White
- Alice
- Daisy
Show the pictures to Ursula and Cruella. Dress up in ‘Modern’ or ‘Professional’ top and pants.
In the ‘Wardrobe’ feature, you’ll see two Cruella icons at the top of the screen. One will be shortcut for the tops that meet quest requirements, and the other will be for pants.
Enter Cruella’s house to show her your new outfit. Talk to Cruella about your outfit. Search Cruella’s house for clues about the mannequin outfit.
Talk to the following villagers about the fishing lure:
- Moana
- Kristoff
- Donald Duck
Talk to Cruella about the situation. You’ll need to talk to Daisy after your discussion with Cruella.
Craft a Photo Backdrop at a crafting station. You’ll need the following materials:
- 10 Beady Soil (Digging in Glamour Gulch)
- 5 Antique Clothes Irons (Mining in Glamour Gulch)
- 5 Reclaimed Barn Wood (Foraging in the Wishing Alps)
There’s a crafting station in the bottom of the quarry in Glamour Gulch, but any crafting station will work. Once you have the materials, interact with a crafting station.
You’ll find the ‘Photo Backdrop’ on the ‘Furniture’ tab of the crafting recipes. Craft 1 backdrop, then bring it to Cruella.
Go to the Wishblossom Heart for the photo shoot. The Photo Backdrop should already be set up, and Cruella and Daisy will meet you there.
Take 3 pictures with the in-game camera feature with the Photo Backdrop in the picture, along with Cruella and Daisy. Talk to Daisy after the photo shoot.
| If you aren’t able to interact with Daisy, you may need to shove her out of the photo shoot area by walking into her. |
Talk to Cruella after the interview. This will complete the quest.
