Heroes and villains both live together in the Disney Dreamlight Valley game. The Wishblossom Ranch expansion provides the infamous Cruella De Vil character.
She hasn’t exactly been forthcoming about the Crystal Key, so you may need to think of a different way to acquire it. Team up with some local critters to turn the odds in your favor.
Prerequisites For ‘The Skunk Rebellion’ Quest
To get ‘The Skunk Rebellion’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete the introductory Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete the introductory Wishblossom Ranch quests.
- Complete ‘The De Vil Crash’ quest.
You can view the status and progress of the quest by visiting the main menu. Select the ‘Quests’ section and you’ll find it listed with a Cruella icon.
Talk To Cruella
To get ‘The Skunk Rebellion’ quest officially started, talk to Cruella. She’ll give you the key to her car so you can search it for the Crystal Key.
You’ll need to approach the middle of the car, near the side windows. Interact with the sparkling area to search the car storage.
Take the seeds samples from the storage. Bring the seeds to Cruella.
After you discuss the situation with Cruella, talk to Snow White. She has an idea to rally the skunks to put some pressure on Cruella.
Gather the following materials to build skunk houses:
- 10 Beady Soil
- 5 Black Silk Flowers
- 3 Red Silk Flowers
- 2 Jasper
When you have gathered all the materials visit a crafting station. You’ll find one in the bottom of the quarry.
You’ll need to craft an Elegant Skunk House. There will be a Cruella icon on the crafting recipe. You’ll find the recipe in the ‘Furniture’ section of recipes.
Place the finished Elegant Skunk House somewhere in Glamour Gulch. You’ll need to look for a flag outside a cave with the face of a fashionable skunk on it.
The cave should be on the eastern side of Glamour Gulch. Talk to Professor Mouffette when you find the cave. He should have a quest marker above his head.
Follow Snow White to the fortress. Talk to her when she gets a blue quest marker above her head.
In the fortress archway, you’ll have a place to put a lever. Interact to fix the lever so you can enter the fortress. Interact with the fixed lever to lower the bridge.

Once you enter the fortress, you’ll need to find a way to deactivate the barking dog statues. The sound prevents the skunks from helping you, so they won’t appear until that part is done.
You’ll need to avoid being caught by the security mannequins. You’ll have to deactivate a total of 3 greyhound dog statues.
The mannequins to worry about are the ones with yellow spotlights. Stay out of the spotlights to get to the greyhound statues. Interact with the statues to deactivate them.
There’s one statue to the left of the entrance. Keep traveling around the perimeter to find the remaining two statues.
After you deactivate all 3 statues, you’ll have a short cutscene of the skunks showing up to help. You’ll also have a discussion with Cruella that will automatically begin.
You’ll need to place Cruella’s house in one of the main areas of Glamour Gulch. It will cost 15,000 star coins to build her house once you have it placed.
Interact with the construction sign to have Scrooge build the house. Welcome Cruella, then talk to her. This will complete the quest. You’ll automatically receive the ‘Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch’ quest.
