Part of the magic of Disney Dreamlight Valley is being able to help our friends when they need a hand. Tigger has a dilemma that needs fixing, and he’d like your help.
Find out what’s happening with Tigger, and what you can do to help him. Bring your Wishblossom Horse with you for some extra help.
Prerequisites For The ‘A Honey Of A Problem’ Quest
To get the ‘A Honey Of A Problem’ quest, you’ll need to do the following first:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete the introductory Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete the introductory Wishblossom Ranch quests, including:
You can check the status of the quest once you’ve accepted it, by visiting the main menu. You’ll find it in the ‘Quests’ section with a Tigger icon.
Talk To Tigger
To get the ‘A Honey Of A Problem’ quest started, find and talk to Tigger. You’ll then need to meet him at his house to find out about his problem.
Enter Tigger’s house and talk to him about his problem. Some bees have made themselves at home in Tigger’s house.
Tigger thinks some of his wishes may have caused the broken beehives that are in the Hundred-Acre Fields. You’ll need to use a Wishblossom Horse to remove the broken beehives.
Additionally, Tigger will upgrade your watering can to help you remove the puddles of honey. If your Wishblossom Horse has the watering ability, it can easily remove these without you having to dismount.
You’ll have a total of 3 broken beehives to remove. The beehives will be located underneath giant pink flowers.
To make new beehives and special bee-soothing furniture, collect the following materials:
- 10 Honeycomb Stone (Mining)
- 4 Grassy Ore (Mining)
- 12 Giant Acorns (Digging)
- 6 Honey Coral (Fishing, white ripples)
- 12 Hardwood (Foraging)
- 14 Clay (Digging)
- 4 Blue Lily of the Valley flowers (Foraging)
- 2 Purple Lily of the Valley flowers (Foraging)
- 3 Yellow Lily of the Valley flowers (Foraging)
All the items you need can be found in the Pixie Acres areas. When you’ve collected all the materials, head to a crafting station.
There’s a crafting station located in Pixie Flats. Interact with the crafting station, and find the recipes you need in the ‘Furniture’ section.
Craft the following:
- 3 Giant Beehives
- 2 Honeycomb Picnic Tables
- 1 Fairy Harp
After you’ve crafted everything, replace the Giant Beehives on the Giant Pink Flowers in the Hundred-Acre Fields. When you’ve found the proper flowers, you can interact with them if you’re close enough.
Select a beehive to attach to the flower tree. You’ll need to hang 3 Giant Beehives in total.
Use the ‘Furniture’ mode from inventory to place the bee-soothing furniture you crafted. You’ll need to place 2 tables and a fairy harp.
You should see a Tigger icon in the furniture mode. You can use that shortcut to quickly access the quest furniture.
When the furniture is placed, return to Tigger’s house. The bees are still in Tigger’s house. Talk to Tigger about the situation.
Ask Snow White for advice on how to lure the bees out of Tigger’s house. Tigger will automatically join you for this part of the quest.
At a crafting station, craft a Regal Bee Crown. You’ll need the following materials:
- 3 Goose Feathers (Fishing, still water)
- 2 Pyrite (Mining)
- 1 Red Silk Flower (Foraging)
- 1 Honey Coral (Fishing, white ripples)
You’ll find the Regal Bee Crown recipe in the ‘Functional Items’ section of the crafting recipes. You’ll also need to make some Honey Perfume at a cooking station.
The recipe for the Honey Perfume should be at the top of your cooking recipes, and marked with a quest marker on the left side of the recipe. You’ll need 1 Honey Coral and 1 Fairy Sprinkles, along with the item Snow White gave you and 1 coal to make it.
With the perfume made, you’re ready to become the Queen Bee. Equip the following from your ‘Wardrobe’ feature:
- 1 Royal Bee Crown
- 2 Black Clothes
- 2 Yellow Clothes
When you’re ready, use the Honey Perfume from your inventory. In the ‘Wardrobe’ menu, you’ll see three Tigger icons.
The first one on the left is a shortcut to equip the crown. The second and third icons are for various clothing pieces that will help fulfill the quest requirements.
After you use the perfume, return to Tigger’s house. You’ll need to capture 3 swarms of bees.
Capture bee swarms in the following locations:
- On the small beach.
- Near the waterfall.
- Near the Modish Marsh entrance.
You can use your Wishblossom Horse to help you capture the bees if you want, but it’s not required. When you’ve caught the bees, put them in the new beehives you made.
Interact with the hives to place the bees. Talk to Tigger once the bees are in their new homes. This will complete the quest.
