Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Mountains might not be the greatest place to drive a fancy car around, but that can’t stop Cruella from showing it off. Help turn her dented car back into something more appealing.
Find out what Cruella wants to do with her most prized possession, and be prepared to do some work. Get help from a valley friend to restore Cruella’s car in this quest.
Prerequisites For The ‘Automotive Appeal’
To get the ‘Automotive Appeal’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete the introductory Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete the introductory Wishblossom Ranch quests, including:
You can check the status of the quest in the main menu ‘Quests’ section any time once you’ve accepted the quest.
How To Get The ‘Automotive Appeal’ Quest
You’ll get the ‘Automotive Appeal’ quest by talking with Cruella once you’ve met the prerequisites. She needs some help repairing her car after her accident.
You’ll need to talk to Goofy to see if he can help with the car repairs. You’ll also need to change into something suitable for automotive work.
Equip the following:
- A Rustic or Casual top
- A Rustic or Casual pair of pants.
- A Rustic or Casual pair of shoes.
In the ‘Wardrobe’ section of your inventory, you’ll see a Cruella icon. Use the icon to view a shortcut of the clothing options that fit the quest requirements.
Once you’re dressed for the job you need to do, you’ll be ready for the next step. Gather supplies to craft an Automobile Mechanic’s Toolbox.
Gather the following supplies:
- 20 Antique Clothes Irons (Mining)
- 5 Rusty Hinges (Digging)
- 3 Wire Coat Hangers (Fishing in still water, not ripples)
- 2 Jasper (Mining)
The Antique Clothes Irons, Wire Coat Hangers, and Jasper can all be obtained in Glamour Gulch. Rusty hinges can be found in the Wishing Alps areas, such as Wishblossom Ranch.
After you’ve gathered everything you need, head to a crafting station. There’s one located in the bottom of the quarry.
You’ll find the recipe for the Automobile Mechanic’s Toolbox in the ‘Functional Items’ section of the crafting recipes. You’ll only need to craft 1 toolbox.
Give the toolbox to Goofy by talking to him. Goofy explains that he needs your help fixing the car’s upholstery.
Head to the quarry and use Maximus’ scent-trail ability to sniff out more fancy fabric for Cruella’s car. You should see a red scent cloud at the car.
Interact with the scent cloud to allow Maximus to pick up the scent. Follow the small red scent orbs until you find the fabric you need.
Return to Goofy with the fabric. Talk to Goofy to deliver the fabric, then follow him to the quarry to work on the car.
Talk to Goofy once you reach him in the quarry. If he doesn’t have a quest marker above his head, get closer to him. One should appear automatically when you’re close enough.
Decorate around the car with the following items:
- Purple Furniture
- Modern Furniture
- Traditional Furniture
Use the ‘Furniture’ mode from your inventory menu. There will be 3 Cruella shortcut icons to represent each type of furniture.
Place at least 1 item from each category around the car. When you’re done decorating, take a picture of the area using the in-game camera function.
| Dismount or move any horses a good distance away from the car before trying to take the picture. If your horse becomes stuck, try fully closing and reopening the game after saving your progress. |
After you take the picture, talk to Cruella. This will complete the quest.
