In the Disney Dreamlight Valley game, Wishblossom Ranch is losing all its Pixie Dust magic. It seems like the work of Cruella, who may have over-wished in her quest to make the ranch fashionable.
Cruella is fashion-driven, so you’ll need to do some work for her before you can even talk about her wishes. Help extract her car from the crash site, and get one step closer to the next Crystal Key.
Prerequisites For ‘The De Vil Crash’ Quest
In order to get ‘The De Vil Crash’ quest, you’ll need to do the following first:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete introductory Disney Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete introductory Wishblossom Ranch quests.
- Complete ‘The Decay Of Fashion‘ quest.
You’ll be able to check the status of the quest by visiting the main menu ‘Quests’ section.
Talk To Cruella
To begin ‘The De Vil Crash’ quest, you’ll need to talk to Cruella. She thinks you need to be dressed differently before you’re ready to get to work on her car.
She’ll give you an outfit to change into. If you’re riding a mount, you’ll need to dismount in order to change your wardrobe.
Equip the Chic Equestrian Uniform from your wardrobe. You should see a Cruella icon at the top of the wardrobe menu for a shortcut to the outfit.
Once you’ve equipped the Chic Equestrian Uniform, talk to Cruella. You’ll need to find pages of a missing notebook that will help you extract her car from the crash site.
Find the missing pages of the notebook by searching the following places:
- Search the beach area to left of the ramp that leads into the Quarry.
- In the bottom of the quarry, search to the far right of the ramp.
- Search the eastern side of Runway River around the iron benches and street lamps. The paper should be between the two iron benches.
Once you have the notebook papers, return to the quarry. Cruella should be waiting at the bottom of the quarry.
With the notebook papers back, you’ll be able to figure out what you’ll need for the Rope and Pulley Repair Kit. Gather the following items:
- 10 Pearly Barley (Grown from caravan seeds)
- 10 Beady Soil (Dig in Glamour Gulch)
- 3 Wire Coat Hangers (Fish in still water, not ripples)
- 2 Measuring-Tape Snail (Fish white ripples in Glamour Gulch)
Once you’ve collected everything, visit a crafting station. There’s one in the bottom of the quarry.
You’ll find the ‘Rope and Pulley Repair Kit’ in the ‘Functional Items’ section of crafting recipes. Use the crafted repair kit on the broken tower at the bottom of the quarry.
You should see some sparkles when you get close enough to it. Interact with the area to complete the repair.
Talk to Cruella once the rope and pulley are repaired. She’ll give you a Mod Saddle to use on your Wishblossom Horse.
Instead of going back to the stable to customize your Wishblossom Horse, you can access customization options from your inventory menu.
You’ll see a ‘Mounts’ section when you check your inventory. Select the horse you want to use, then use the customize option that shows up.
Choose the saddles category after selecting the customize option. Any saddles you have available will show up there. Choose the Mod Saddle, and equip it.
You can also use the Cruella shortcut at the top of the menu after you select the horse you want to customize. It will take you right to the Mod Saddle option.
Talk to Cruella once the saddle is equipped. After the car is extracted talk to Cruella again.
This will complete the quest. You’ll receive ‘The Skunk Rebellion’ as the next quest in the series.
