Talk To Nai’o

Palia character Nai'o in a conversation about baby animals for the 'Ranching 102' quest.

To begin the Ranching 102 quest, talk to Nai’o. He should be standing in front of the barn gate.

He’ll talk to you about the nursery pen, which is where any baby animals live while they’re growing up.

To get to the nursery, when standing facing the main barn, take the path to the left. Nai’o should be waiting to meet you at the nursery pen. Follow the path until you see him.

Talk to Nai’o once you arrive at the nursery. He’ll let you know that you need to use the Cozy Coop to let your Pekis breed.

Each pen can only hold 10 animals. Don’t breed too many animals for you to keep in the one existing nursery pen.

As you progress with your Ranching skill, you’ll be able to obtain more pens to keep more animals if you want. You can also choose to adopt baby animals from the store rather than breed them.

You’ll be able to name your new baby Peki, and remember to check in on it to feed and pet them in the nursery since it’s not right in the normal barn area with your other Pekis.

If you need to review Ranching skill information, there is a guidebook to the right of the Cozy Coop.
