There’s always something to do in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, whether it’s gathering resources, or celebrating holidays and birthdays. Each Sanrio character has an actual birthdate.
Keroppi’s official birthday is July 10. He’s sure to enjoy the toasty Summer weather in the Spooky Swamp. Celebrate his birthday and make it an extra special occasion.
How To Get The Quest For Keroppi’s Birthday
To get Keroppi’s birthday quest, ‘Being Green‘, head to the Spooky Swamp and chat with him. You can usually find him around the Nature Preserve.
Talk to Keroppi to find out what he’s thinking. He’s trying to figure out how to pick his favorite day. He’ll also invite you along for a stroll around Friendship Island.
Follow him and talk to him again when he stops. He should have a blue exclamation point above his head.
Near the Resort Gate, he’ll notice that there’s some debris along the path. Help him make the path safer by picking up the sticks and coconuts that appear. Talk to Keroppi when you’re done cleaning.
You’ll meet Chococat along the way who will reveal that it happens to be Keroppi’s birthday. Keroppi is happy to walk around and clean up the island, but Chococat suggests that it could also be a more celebratory day.
Keroppi says there will probably be a get-together later at the pier, but for now, you should meet him in Gemstone Mountain. You can use either the Hot Springs waypoint in Mount Hothead or the Gemstone Town waypoint in Gemstone Mountain.
Keroppi will be waiting on the Southwest beach of the Gemstone Mountain area. You’ll be able to see Keroppi’s head on the map for the location, or the quest icon which is a Keroppi birthday balloon.
Talk to Keroppi to find out what he needs help with. Some trash washed up on shore, so he definitely wants to clean up the shore. Find trash bags on the beach and pick them up.
Talk to Keroppi again when you’ve picked up the trash. You’ll have a short discussion with Keroppi and Retsuko.
Next follow Keroppi to Mount Hothead. He should end up around cabin 3 on the shoreline of Mount Hothead. Talk to him once he stops at the location.
This time, rather than cleaning, Keroppi has spotted some treasures along the shore. Collect the treasures (shells, sand dollars, and starfish) and talk to him once you’re done. Badtz-Maru will show up for a quick discussion.
You’ll be teleported to the pier which will already be set up for the party. You’ll receive a Keroppi Party Favor and the blueprint to craft Keroppi Birthday Balloons.
To make Keroppi’s special birthday cake, you’ll need to collect Keroppi Decorating Kits. These can only be collected within Spooky Swamp.

You’ll need 1 Flour and 1 Keroppi Decorating Kit to make Keroppi’s special cake. You can use any oven, including the oven at the Hello Kitty Cafe to make the cake.
To make the Keroppi Birthday Balloons, you’ll need 25 rubber, 5 iron, and 15 sugarkelp.
You can either gift the cake or place it in a cabin. The balloons can be placed in cabins as well.
