The island has multiple ruins that you’ve successfully restored to working order. Throughout your endeavors, you’ve seen a couple little characters materialize, offer help, and then disappear.
You’ve solved some of the mysteries of the islands but it seems there may still be a few more. When Hello Kitty wants to watch the stars with you and her other friends, you might wonder what this magical island has in store for you.
Find out if your stargazing is business as usual, or if there’s something a little different happening in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. If you don’t have the quest yet, check out the prerequisites.
Prerequisites For Stargazing Quest
Complete the ‘Power Up The Gate’ quest.
Complete ‘A Challenging Rescue‘ quest.
Wait until night.
Talk To Hello Kitty
Once night falls, you’ll need to talk to Hello Kitty to begin the Stargazing quest. You’ll find her at Moon Island. There should be a fast-travel waypoint to take you there, if you have it unlocked.
You’ll need to find the 4 other Sky Fragments that crashed into the island. The cutscene shows the basic areas to search. Hello Kitty also wants you to check in on friends to make sure everyone is okay.
The locations of Sky Fragments will also appear on your map as pink and blue star symbols. Find the following characters and talk to each one:
- Badtz-Maru
- Keroppi
- Kuromi
- Retsuko
Kuromi can be found in Spooky Swamp. Each fragment can be found by checking the map for the pink and blue star symbol, or the character you need to speak with.
Badtz-Maru can be found in the Mount Hothead area. Keroppi is in the Gemstone Mountain area. Speak to each of these characters to gain the Sky Fragments.
To get the last Sky Fragment, you’ll need to visit the Comedy Club. Though the quest marker might make it seem as though the Sky Fragment is located outside the club, you’ll have to enter the club to check in with Retsuko and gain the Sky Fragment.
When you have collected all the Sky Fragments, return to Moon Island. Talk to Hello Kitty, who should still be there waiting for you.
Enter The Portal
A new portal should appear after talking to Hello Kitty. Hop across the stepping stones to enter the portal. Be prepared for a small cutscene.
You’ll finally be able to speak more with the LittleTwinStars, Kiki and Lala. You’ll end up in yet another new area called Cloud Island.
Some troubling things have been happening on Cloud Island, but right now the LittleTwinStars just want to get to know you better.
After hearing their explanation, and finally officially meeting them, the quest will complete. If you get sent back to the main part of the island, you can take the same portal to get back to Cloud Island.
If you explore a bit, you’ll find a fast-travel waypoint to unlock on the main Cloud Island area.
