It’s nearing Chococat’s birthday and you can get the party started a little early. Their actual birthday is May 10, so feel free to pick up the birthday quest and get started.
When you login, My Melody should greet you and explain that it’s Chococat’s birthday. Follow this guide to find out how to participate in the celebration.
How To Get The Quest For Chococat’s Birthday
Once My Melody informs you that it’s almost Chococat’s birthday, she doesn’t give you any further instructions.
You’ll need to talk to Chococat to get the ball rolling. Chococat can usually be found by their tent near the Resort Gate.

They’ve encountered a mysterious riddle and want to solve it before their celebration. This will give you the ‘Mysterious Maps‘ quest.
After hearing the riddle, you’ll need to follow Chococat to the Cozy Islands. Once you get there, talk to Chococat again.
He’ll repeat the riddle, and it’s your job to look around the area for an arch of stone. If you search around the vicinity, you should see one nearby. You can also check the map to see a blue zone to help you narrow your search area.
Location For Riddle Answer
The item you need will be on top of the arch, so you’ll need to climb up.
Once you’ve found the “answer” to the riddle, use the gift function to deliver it to Chococat.
As you are traipsing around the islands be sure to pick up pineapples, rubber, and sand dollars to collect special Chococat’s Decorating Kits.
Meet Chococat In The Spooky Swamp
After solving the riddle, you’ll find it leads to yet another riddle. Meet Chococat at the Spooky Swamp.
You can use the Ghost Tour Ride fast-travel waypoint if you have it unlocked. It’ll be the closest waypoint to take you right to Chococat. Talk to Chococat again.
You’ll need to find an “eerie waterfall” somewhere in the Spooky Swamp. There will be a blue search zone marked on the map.
Once you find the correct waterfall, there will be an item to procure. It will be marked with a blue exclamation point, so it won’t be too difficult to locate.

Return to Chococat using the same Ghost Tour Ride fast-travel waypoint. Use the gift function to turn over the item to Chococat.
Meet Chococat In Gemstone Mountain
A third riddle will require that you venture somewhere a little warmer. Meet Chococat in the Gemstone Mountain area on the western beach.
You can either use the Gemstone Town fast-travel waypoint, or the Mount Hothead waypoint. You can then travel to the place where Chococat is waiting. You should be able to see Chococat’s location on the map.
Search the marked blue zone on the map to find the proper spot. You should travel northwest to begin your search.
Third Riddle Map Location Answer
Once you’ve obtained the necessary item, which is of course marked with a blue exclamation point, return to Chococat. He’ll be waiting where you first met him in the area.
Use the gift function to ensure he gets the item. Meet Chococat at the Resort Plaza for the last riddle.
You’ll receive a Chococat Party Favor that can be placed in cabins. It will be in the furniture section of your inventory.
You’ll also receive the crafting plans for Chococat Birthday Balloons. You’ll need 25 rubber, 5 iron, and 15 gizmos to craft a balloon.
To use the Chococat’s Decorating Kits, use any oven to combine with flour and bake a cake. Gift the cake, or multiple cakes, to Chococat.
