Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a cute cozy game that features beloved Sanrio characters. You’ll start off with a core cast of 13 characters.
As you progress through friendship levels and quests, you’ll eventually be able to unlock the cabins you find around the island. You’ll be able to receive special visitors, assuming all the special cabin requirements are met for each character.
Mimmy’s Resident Requirements
The first step to having Mimmy stay on your cozy island forever is to make sure you have a cabin ready before she’s scheduled to visit. My Melody will always let you know who will be visiting when she greets you for the first time each day.
When you see that Mimmy is scheduled for a visit, you can access more details by checking the ‘Visitors’ section in the main menu. You’ll gain a little more information about Mimmy as well as what she requires to visit the island.
Mimmy’s Cabin Requirements
- Cabin should be located in Seaside Resort.
- Must have two bread-tagged items.
- Must have five pieces of Hello Kitty-tagged furniture.
Once you have a cabin decorated with the necessary requirements, the Visitor information will show which cabin meets her needs. If you forget, you can always check by selecting Mimmy to see which cabin is hers.
Gaining Friendship With Mimmy
Gaining friendship with Mimmy works differently than it does with the core Sanrio characters who arrived on the island with you. You won’t be able to give Mimmy gifts when she’s visiting.
Instead of giving gifts, you’ll need to chat with her each day and she’ll give you a daily quest. She may want you to craft a specific material, such as Tropical Material. Once you craft it, be sure to speak with her again.
Once you do this enough times, she will ask if it’s okay if she stays on the island as a resident. You’ll also have the option to ask her to leave in the future if you change your mind.
Make Mimmy A Permanent Island Resident
Once Mimmy requests to stay on the island and you agree, you’ll have to complete her resident quest: Super Siblings. It’s not too difficult, just gathering items and crafting a few others.
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 Thread–Get this by bringing Tuxedosam daily gifts.
5 Pineapple–Gather from the Seaside Resort area.
5 Tropical Material–Craft this at a crafting bench. You’ll need a total of 10 Fabric, 15 Feathers (from gifting Pekkle), 25 Sand Dollars.
Return to Mimmy once you have all the items. Talk to her to automatically hand over all the items.
She’ll suggest a fashion shoot. Change into whatever you’d like to wear at a mirror and then meet her at the Seaside Resort beachfront.
Talk to Mimmy to continue with the fashion shoot, then chat with Hello Kitty to complete the quest. Once Mimmy is a resident, you still won’t be able to give her gifts unfortunately, but she’ll continue to give you one thing each real-life day when you speak with her.
