Disney Dreamlight Valley Egg-stravaganza guide

Even though we still have a Star Path going on, we have an additional event to keep us occupied. April’s Eggstravaganza event is here for a limited time through April 22, 2025.

Find out what you can do to participate, and earn rewards during the event. Don’t forget to check your progress on the Oasis Retreat Star Path as well if you also want those rewards.

Activities For The Eggstravaganza Event

There are a number of ways to participate in this Eggstravaganza event celebrating Spring. You can check the event information in the Event menu under the ‘Description’ section for details.

Here’s a summary of the types of activities you can do to participate:

  • Find special temporary egg-bearing bushes in your valley. You can harvest these multiple times during the day to get pink Egg-cellent Fruit.
If your Plaza area has too many decorations, you may not be able to see the egg bushes, or have them spawn. It’s best to make room for around three bushes to spawn in the Plaza.
  • Search the biomes in your valley to find blue Wild Spring Eggs.
  • Venture back into unlocked realms to find Purple Spring Eggs. If you have the ‘A Rift in Time’ expansion, you can use your Royal Hourglass in the realms to get glimmer while you’re there.
    • We found Purple Spring Eggs in the following realms:
      • The Lion King Realm
      • Beauty and the Beast Realm–Check for eggs in the hedge maze area.
      • Mulan Realm–Make sure to search the training maze inside the camp.
      • Moana Realm
      • Toy Story Realm–Remember to check the closet.
Spring Egg realms seems to rotate, so it’s possible only a few realms at a time will have the Spring Eggs. Egg spawn locations within realms are also randomized.

  • Speak to WALL-E to get a weekly quest, and once a day for a daily quest. You’ll get some eggs, including yellow Spring V-EGG-etable eggs as rewards.
    • Bunnies on the Run (weekly quest)–Catch 5 bunnies in the Plaza.
    • Blooming and Blossoming (daily quest)–Craft a Pretty Flower Basket for WALL-E.
  • Complete Eggstravaganza Duties. If you did tasks during a previous Eggstravaganza event, they’ll show partial or full completion status.
    • Eggs-ceptional Decorating
      • Craft Spring Egg themed decorations under the ‘Furniture’ tab in the crafting menu. Place 4 Spring egg-themed decorations in your valley.
    • That’s Not Where Eggs Come From
      • Grow V-Egg-etable seeds. There are four phases to the quest. You’ll need to grow 100.
    • Spring Taste Test
      • Cook 3 special Spring Egg dishes and eat them.
    • WALL-E Loves Flowers
      • Collect 50 flowers for WALL-E.
  • Craft V-Egg-etable seeds and grow them to gain more Spring Eggs.

How Often Are Spring Eggs Available?

If you’re planning to play for extended time periods, you’ll likely gather plenty of eggs. If you’re a bit short on time, however, you might want to know how often eggs appear to make the most of your game time.

According to the Disney Dreamlight Valley blog about the Eggstravaganza event, you can expect the following timeframes:

Pink Egg-cellent Fruit–Each of the 3 bushes yield 3 of these eggs every 30 minutes.

Blue Wild Spring Eggs–Appear in any valley biome every 30 minutes. There are a maximum of 10 that can exist at once in all biomes combined.

Purple Spring Eggs–Spawn every 5 minutes in realms. There are a maximum of 10 of these eggs across all realms.

You won’t be able to put any of the Ancient Machine Vacuums in realms, so you’ll need to manually search and collect the Purple Spring Eggs.

If you have been playing for a while and aren’t seeing the Spring eggs, try closing the game and re-launching it.

Craftable Seasonal Spring Eggstravaganza Items

There are a number of seasonal Spring items you can craft with the eggs you collect.

Eggstravaganza Duty Rewards

You’ll receive quite a few rewards for completing the Eggstravaganza event duties.
